bound amour and weapons

hi there i have a problem i have created a set of bound armour and weapons but when i reverse pick pocket them onto my followers like mage apprentice or dark brotherhood murderer they never seem to equip them sometimes they equip the weopen but never the armour please can ne one help

1) Are they already wearing Armor?
2) If one is yes, is it enchanted?
3) Is this NPC designated to not equip armor at this time?

none of the bound stuff is enchanted and i thought they were meant to equip the armour the second they got it as the amour is the best in their invertory

It depends on the type of armor and what enchantments their armor already has.

Also, like Kestral said, some Scripts run on certain NPCs that do not allow them to equip armor at certain times.

its ok now i fast traveled to a different city and they were wearing the armour but if u use a mage apprentice don't go to the arcane university and leave because that will reset them to their original amour and weapons

I actually know this one!!! It's because it's not listed as the first thing alphabetically in their inventory!!! Try naming it with something starting with an A or two A's if there is something in their inventory starting with A. Like "An Awesome Cuirass" or "A Sweet set of Gauntlets".
