Damage Health vs. Fire / Shock / Frost damage?
Damage Health vs. Fire / Shock / Frost damage?
Is there a difference between let's say a longsword with a 25pt damage health enchantment and a longsword with a 25pt fire or shock, etc...?

some races have a weakness to shock/fire/ or frost so in theory it could do more damage. health damage will hurt them no mater what there magic resistance is.

However, for some reason, I have noticed that Undead, such as zombies, skeletons, & liches, seem to have a large resistance to Damage Health enchantments and spells.
I guess because of their Undead natures.

also, damage health is CONSIDERABLY more expensive to refill. element vs Health is in the ballpark of 7 vs 12, so you pay almost 2x as much to recharge them. i believe shock damage has the most creatures with a weakness, and frost has the most (all ghost/animal factions)

put all of the elementals on one sword, but just not as much damage for each. ex: you want a weapon with 30 fire damage. put 10 fire, 10 frost, and 10 shock. then you will have a well balanced weapon

thats a good idea too, i usely do that i just make some swords more powerfull in 1 element if needed

this also costs less charge than a 30 fire damage weaponA-BIack_Man wrote:put all of the elementals on one sword, but just not as much damage for each. ex: you want a weapon with 30 fire damage. put 10 fire, 10 frost, and 10 shock. then you will have a well balanced weapon
