Geezer wrinkles. Bah.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Pretty useless, unless you're a stealth-based character, in my opinion.

Not necessarily. Vampires make awesome magic-users, as well. And depending on your background race, they can be effective warrior-types.Biotechnic wrote:Pretty useless, unless you're a stealth-based character, in my opinion.

the added bonuses to non-stealth abilities is totally useless for non-stealth based people I know.Biotechnic wrote:Pretty useless, unless you're a stealth-based character, in my opinion.

Eh, they do, but that's why I said it was my opinion. I'd rather not have to worry about the time of day I do things.

Re: what do you think of vampirism?
i always wanted to contract vampirism once my attributes reach 100 on a warrior since i think his massive amount of health (~550 at level 30) and do all the other glitches(felldew, then oghma infinium, then vampirism) and make him incredibly powerful, and the more health he would have, the longer he could last outside during the day, along with fortify health enchantments.

Re: what do you think of vampirism?
thats kinda true, but make sure he doesnt become fully vampire because you can have the highest health in the game but you will not last outside! if in the last stage of vampirism, youll die outside!m@nyt1mes wrote:i always wanted to contract vampirism once my attributes reach 100 on a warrior since i think his massive amount of health (~550 at level 30) and do all the other glitches(felldew, then oghma infinium, then vampirism) and make him incredibly powerful, and the more health he would have, the longer he could last outside during the day, along with fortify health enchantments.

Re: what do you think of vampirism?
i was thinking of my 5/1/1 EL strategy, resulting in the most health, and then i would imagine i would have health in the ballpark of 800-1000 or so, but then i would last, maybe 100, 110 seconds? it would be cool though.

Re: what do you think of vampirism?
In all honesty, I love being a vampire. For me, the next vampire level always kicks in right when I need it. Nothing quite says awesome like finding a whole bunch of awesome swag, then getting more than enough strength to carry it all. Plus, being immortal is lovely.
However, as a Khajiit, I never really look all too different when I advance vampire levels, not until 100%, when the gray marks and circles under the eyes show up, not mentioning the rather bleak colored fur.

Annoying. I prefer playing where not EVERYBODY wants to kill me.

Annoying that you can't fast travel during the day.

Re: what do you think of vampirism?
I own at vampire characters, they're my favorite but one thing I have noticed is that almost (if not) everyone who says vampire characters are stupid or pathetic-have never been any good at them in the first place, so they're being judgemental! Mastering the dark gift can be difficult but it can make you more powerful than what any bonus' mention

Re: what do you think of vampirism?
I played for a long time as a vampire, then decided i didnt want to worry about when the last time i fed before i can fast travel was, so i decided to get it cured
I also found that if you get all master skills as a vampire and then get it cured you can get some extra levels when its cured because you lose skill bonuses, at least i was able to as a mage, i dont know about other classes

Being a vampire in Oblivion isn't that bad. Most people just won't talk to you until you feed and start looking more human. The King wrote:Annoying. I prefer playing where not EVERYBODY wants to kill me.
In fact, Ive never had a NPC attack for the sole purpose of me just being a vampire.

They do do it, it depends on their disposition to you, vampires in general and what stage vampirism you're at at the present timeKaelan Corvinus wrote:Being a vampire in Oblivion isn't that bad. Maybe, but I have walked around the Imperial City while being a FULL vampire and no one has ever attacked me without a reason.Cloud_Nine wrote:They do do it, it depends on their disposition to you, vampires in general and what stage vampirism you're at at the present timeKaelan Corvinus wrote:Being a vampire in Oblivion isn't that bad.
