More Proof of the Elusive City of Sutch

Post by Kestral »

Note: If this belongs in Oblivion, please, move this to it. I felt that it didn't because, although the topic has to do with Sutch and Cyrodiil, the means of this further discovery has nothing to do with Oblivion. Actually, it has to do with TESA: Redguard, so if a mod feels that it's necessary for this to be in there, please, do so. Since the map was released as an outer regions of Stros M'kai.

Well, looking at my new desktop, a map of the lands west of Hammerfell, with some of Cyrodiil in it, something caught my attention.

Look at Cyrodiil in the picture, you can see a "Sutch" above Anvil and Skingrad. So this brings the fact that Sutch was actually a part of lore prior to Oblivion. (A previous topic pointed out the city of Sutch in a pre-release map of Oblivion, I believe it was from the E3 game footage, in which the City of Sutch, was clearly seen.)

Also, I have two questions, what is the land south of Yokuda, and what is Stirk?

Otherwise, discuss.

There's a border on that map that cuts Bravil and Leyawiin out of Cyrodiil... That's a REALLY weird map. I've hoenstly got no clue about it.
And on the eighth day, God created Thermodynamics, and it was good.

The map is a map of Western Tamriel, from Redguard.

I know, but if you look at Cyrodiil, there's a line right above where Bravil would be.

Oh, my apologies. I saw it completely wrong.

I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

I believe that Yokuda is where the Redguards came from(originally).

Yes, I know that much, but Yokuda is above the "Sea of Pearls" (the word) what is below the "Sea of Pearls" in the map, though. It looks like it says "Nalaga" which sounds Elvish, so it might be Aldmeris/Old Ehlnofey.

For Sutch, what if it actually was there but was killed off by the plague?... Don't know why there are no ruins besides the fort then...
