I voted for other, because like most people I know, I am not bound to one genre by a misguided sense of musical loyalty. I will listen to any category of music, as long as I LIKE it. I think that every genre has potential for greatness, it's just waiting for someone to come along and fully realize that potential.

I listen to hip hop/rap/rock/grunge/metal(very little metal though). I voted Hip Hop.

Well mine would be Rock mainly but still some Pop music, and the only hip hop/rap I can listen to (and enjoy) is the backup singer in Linkin Park

I listen almost anything. Country.Screamo,hip-hop,rap, alternative rock, pop, ska, reggaee. I grew up with nothing but heavy metal and rock so I kinda sick of it. But guess I am slowly listen to it again heehee.

I listen to most things (I dislike it when someone says they listen to everything. There's probably at least one genre they don't like), from Folk to Rock to Polka.

I listen to rock and metal mostly, but also classic (why is that not on there?!), blues, film scores, "irish" music, occasionally pop (all but blues missing... sheesh!) Things I can't stand most of the time (I admit there are a always few exceptions) are hiphop/rap/techno...

I listen to a lot of things, it just depends on the mood I'm in. Right now it's a more rocky/dancy kind of phase.

I love techno quite a lot more than any other genre... <3
It was always the one that really hit me in my heart.

I love power metal as well, but not as much. Classical is always good though, too...

Is it possible to make polls mutiple option? Think that would work pretty well in a poll like this.

I listen to lots, Post-Rock/Metal, stuff that's called 'Alt-Rock' but is actually quite mainstream, like Muse

, Electro (mostly the French and German stuff, Toxic Avenger, Justice, Boys Noize etc.) and a little bit of Metal, mostly old stuff but I do like Mastodon...

It hasn't changed, the majority of people on here are into Metal and bands I have never heard of... Last time I asked it wasn't so, now it has grown
