Any good mmorpg?

Post by Nathrezen »

K, so some years ago, I was playing Lineage2 on private server (I play on private, because I don't want to throw out my money) and it was good, but now there are few people. After that I was playing WoW and I enjoyed that as well. And WoW is for me a litlle childish, because there play too much kids and they say only " wtf h4x omfg lol n00b", so I want to ask you, is there any other good mmorpg like WoW or L2?

Sorry for my poor english.

There is a free to play mmorpg created to resemble WoW. It's called Runes of Magic. I can't tell you if it's fun, because my computer can't handle, but it has some good reviews over the web for a free game.

Some time ago, Mrs T told me about ROSE Evolution. It's pretty fun. I only played it for about a week but that was due to getting addicted to my ps3 again. It's pretty cool indeed.

I've found one that is very addictive and I play it everday. Its called Real Life. You've probably already made an account, with the help of your parents of course. You log in by waking up, and you can go outside and do tons of things! You can have a pet, level up your skills in the Art category, Practical category, and tons of other categories with tons of skills.
You can also kill people and steal stuff, but the guards in Real Life are much more harsh then they are in other games, and the penalties are much harsher.
If you want to fight people without getting beat up by [&@%!]-off cops, you can always join the military and train other skills like rifle, running-while-someone's-trying-to-kill-you, calling-in-artillery-strikes, and much more!

There are many classes, like Nerd, Jock, Loser, Smart-Person, and much more! In the tutorial phase of this game (called High School while in the game - everything prior to that is the character-creation phase), a Nerd might be a total waste of life, but once he leaves the proving grounds he has the potential to become much much more. (This is because he has buffs to his Intelligence and Computer skills) A Jock might have all the chicks and play sports, but once he leaves the proving grounds he ends up working for a Nerd, because he doesn't have those buffs, but once he gets home he has a hot wife. So you decide.

Start playing now! Its free, and easy to play... kind of. If you choose to quit playing, there are many ways to do so. But for your own well-being it is encouraged that you keep playing up until character deletion. :D HAVE FUN!

Wow 5tealthh, way to spend who knows how long writing a post that is off topic and idiotic.

If you're looking for a game Nathrezen, You could try sites like Onrpg or this to find some that look interesting to you. I know people you have played Runes of Magic and said it was good (I had such an issue trying to get it to install and update that I'll never try it). Perfect Word International is free and is/was considered Chinas WoW.

If you find any from the list that looks interesting you can ask here to get peoples opinions on it (if opinions are what you're looking for).

Hey, I thought it was pretty good.

Fine, waste your life on an MMORPG, heres a list you could look at. You should just buy a model from the hobby store, or get out more, or something productive. I hardly see how sitting on your butt all day playing WoW is good for you, but I don't want to flame anyone, so don't flame me either.

Guild Wars is quite good.

You only have to pay for the game itself, the rest is free.

It would have been good if you had said your piece and then gave an answer instead of a full post that was off-topic and meant to insult.

@Nathrezen, If you choose a game don't be shy about telling us what you chose. Never know when you'll find someone from here that can help you get accustomed to the game.

Hey, it wasn't meant to insult. It was meant to encourage. Getting a little touchy about your own place in the real world are we?

I'm a gamer. No issue with being a gamer. I don't play MMORPGS or MMOs in general very often. I prefer reading or hanging out with friends. And you haven't even been here (on a NERDY gaming forum. You have to accept what this site is and that you're a part of it) a month and you're already finding the need to insult people. I don't think you'll last very long. Most people like you haven't over the last few years.

I've been playing Eve Online lately. I enjoy it.

There's a 14 day trial on the website, or if you want PM me your email and I'll send you a 21 day trial.

Yet you feel the need to flame me all you want. I wasn't making a negative comment toward any member of UESP. I was just simply suggesting to the asker that MMORPGs are pretty much a waste of someone's life. Look at WoW, it ruins a lot of people's lives. Just like smoking, or drinking... or any other kind of addiction out there.

I wasn't trying to flame you or anyone else. So stop flaming me. No need to get defensive over nothing and start attacking a member of UESP for giving a suggestion to someone searching for something that could potentially start an addiction.

You started by essentially saying "Get a life" and nothing more. In my response the only thing I said about you was that you spent time making a post. I also said that what you said was idiotic, and later said that it would have been acceptable had you added to the topic instead of just posting nonsense. You are derailing the thread (as am I currently) and have no need to try and "defend" yourself as I said nothing against YOU until my previous post in response to you insisting on being insulting. And even then I only said that you probably wont last long if you continue to insult people.

Hopefully Cactus will delete the off topic posts instead of locking the thread.

Hmm, I actually found 5tealthh's post to be fairly entertaining....and as this is general banter you are allowed to go off-topic.
Just keep it civil from now on and you should be alright.

I think I will try Guild Wars (my friend plays that so maybe it will be funny). And I wanted to say, that if someone want to play with friends in raining evening, don't makes him to be addictive to mmo games.

Thx for help, now this topic is ready to be closed.
