I am addicted to The Orange Box now, and I can't play anything else without getting bored and running back to it (Not even my trusty Conker Live and Reloaded can drag me away from it).

Which is bad, because I already had and finished (multiple times) Half Life 2, I had Half Life 2 Episode 1 done quicker then you say 'I hate the Zombie-que Achievement', and I finished Half Life 2 Episode 2 the day after (What the hell is it with short games these days? It took me 6 years to get 100% on Super Mario 64, and I still have not beaten Grunty in Banjo Kazooie!)

Portal? Pah, I did that without even finishing my Sandvich. Speaking of Sandvich's, I can't play Team Fortress 2 due to the fact that the company that controls my Internet doesn’t have true Broadband here, and we're stuck in the contract until April next year (Which is when they will be getting Broadband, so go figure) making this all the more worse for me is that I have a 1 month free gold membership (Which I got when my Xbox was fixed) two separate 48 hours free membership (One from my copy of Viva Piñata, the other from my copy of Fable 2, which the stores I bought them from had pre-ordered), and I can get Banjo Kazooie free off Xbox live (Same deal as the free 96 hours, only from my copy of Banjo Kazooie: Nuts 'n' Bolts)

Don't get me wrong, I love the Half Life 2 games, Portal is awesome (She's still alive! Damnit!) and I've messed around with TF2 and I like it so far (My favorites so far are the Demoman, the Pryo and the Spy [Who have’d guessed that! What’s next? Nintendo making a game where you eat mushrooms and kill turtles?], so beware :Twisted Evil: ) and I can't wait to play it online and start burning, backstabbing and ker-spolding :D .

Rant over: My sincere apology for taking this off topic after the first paragraph, cake? :P

im usually addicted to any game that I am currently playing. Usually, I get a game and play through it until I beat it. I then move on to other games, and then may go back and just replay a game because it was fun, and stay with it until I beat it. the thing with Oblivion, is that it cannot be beaten, so it consumes me until I decide I need to do anything else, its not that I get bored exactly, I just have done everything I want for that play through.

i didn't really get my hopes up for WaW; seeing as it's Treyarch, world war II, and using nearly the EXACT same engine as CoD4.

Currently: Sims 3.

Why: Because this game is beyond-goshlike(the word "god", oh my gosh I just said it, offends Americans). 'Nuff said.
Doin my own, thang, and if you got a problem with that

Since when? That, members of UESP, is called stereotyping.

Since when is sterotyping = truth?

My cousin (Oh wait, she doesn't exist...) lived in U.S.A for a year. She told me that it offended some.
Maybe that was at her school only, but still...

i think gaming is addictive because it's an effective form of escapism. it's like the psychological equivalent of alcoholism.
It's a fine line, but someone has to walk it.

I meant no offense, Raven. I personally don't say it, but I know a lot of people that do.It does get downright annoying, because they say it all the time.
