As for the third line, does that mean that this 'thing' is alive, but if it died nothing else can survive?

Technically it's a song quote. It refers to it's current state of existence, but I shan't (yet) specify if that means alive or dead.

Aranalda from the Afflicted brethren quest? She's a witchhunter, and that class has Agility and Intelligence as favored attributes. She's a vampire so she isn't technically alive. I can't make it fit with "a searcher of lost causes" though.

yeah, now that i think about it, this has kind of shifted from actual trivia to a "decode my riddle" game, i think it should be reverted to the trivia deal, which would give more people a chance and keep the flow going. it seems too close to "game" status to not be locked.
