Humm, my highest leveled character is a breton. Fancy looking actually. Much like myself. :P (nah, just kidding)

But my favourite race is the argonian one, and always will be. That's what I voted.

I dwell within the more ethereal realms of TES, so I tend to favour races that cater more to magic than anything else. Altmer are, by far, the most magically devoted race. I have, however, been known to favour stealth and archery, which both give themselves to Bosmer; however, I have learned, in the past, that Bosmer are cannibals, so I stray rather far from them now-a-days. I've never been a fan of close-quarter combat, as you can't really discern the entire situation when you're in the middle of it, and thus prefer long-ranged attacks which are archery and magic.
The sharpest word may be uttered with the softest tongue.

Arotos Markos, Dunmeri Magus Extraordinaire.

Though I haven't played him in a long while, instead messing around with my Breton Battlemage, Vestice Venard, and my Bosmer Thief, Thabelion Green-Eyes.
I missed it here.

It seems people prefer an Imperial or Redguard for a warrior character, or am I wrong?

Considering that Dunmer can be effective warriors, I say it's between the Imperial and Dunmer for warriors (redguards are still lacking)

I've never had a Dunmer warrior :) Might try one.
Dunmer are good at magic, combat and stealth so I guess it'll work. Some "Vampire Killer" warrior character might be fun :D.

Are you frickin kidding me? Meh, more humans would be cannibals if we knew what we tasted like. They say human is the best tasting meat ever! ... of course, most would probably cannibalize when they're starving, and starvation makes anything taste good.

Nevermind, offtopic.

But cannibals? Never making a Bosmer then. People just like them because they're good rogues.

Actually.. my favourite warrior was an Orc. I tried Nords but couldn't get into them, never liked Redguards in Oblivion (Morrowind.. different story..) either. Orcs are just... huge and intimidating. Just to be contradicting, I made mine a paladin, so as huge and mean looking as he was, he was slow to anger and used violence as a last resort only. He was my first (and favourite) KotN character.

I can imagine the faces of the knights seeing you walk in there as an Orc. "Is this a joke?"

Khajiit,But only because they can see in the dark from the start.
An extra hand to hold a shield. Unfortunately I get grouped in with furries when I mention my first character.

I thought red guards are "the most naturally talented warriors in tamriel."

at any other time i would have said imperials, but after starting a new character yesterday, i really like argonians, and this is my first argonian character ever. Im not sure what it is about them but its a cool character. I think its because everytime i have tried to play as a stealthy character, i have picked a warrior race and so not been inclined to stay true to stealth. But there is something remarkably satisfying about sniping your target, running, jumping into water and swimming away without being detected that is exhilarating.

videogmer314 wrote:Wow... am I the only one who has a Redguard main? The resist poison and disease are both really handy, plus the adrenaline rush is infinitely better than an orc's berserk. Also, with the help of my armor, I have about 103 athletics and 152 speed, so I can outrun a black horse. Besides, combat specialization classes are the easiest to use, especially with a weapon enchanted to absorb health.
NO!! You are definitely not the only one! I love my RG. He's gotten SO strong, I don't ever have to worry about my health, etc. I was worried about picking a good character at first, but now I know I made a really good choice. My RG is awesome. And I DID get the 'Fro

I have to say Argonians are my favorite. Everytime i see one in game, i always make them like me, and the fighters guild chain is my least favorite because i have to kill so many argonians

Yes, but they're bad Argonians. They removed a Hist from its native land of Argonia and brought it to Cyrodiil. Then they perverted it by using all sorts of mechanical devices to keep it alive in alien conditions. The Hist are sacred to Argonians and doing this to a Hist is the same as treason. So, they deserved to be killed.

My main's a Breton Mage/Archer hybrid. I pretty much have all my stats maxed out, so it's easy for me to quickly jump back into the game and experiment with some stuff. It's been that way for me for the past two years.

However, I'm having some fun experimenting with an Altmer mage/monk of sorts. Difficult and requires lots of planning, but it really pays off in the long run.
