Ohh the pain...

Post by Master Z »

Here is where you should list painful moments(Stapling your fingers, discovering that you shouldn't climb a tower of boxes with nails inside them, etc, etc)

I just got my hand smashed inside a window

I'll most likely be rediscovering the pain of hangovers in a few hours. Does that count?

I don't think so, but I don't know. Oh, and part of my fingernail just fell off

The most pain I have ever been in was about a year and a half ago. I managed to knock my own tooth out playing Rugby, that didn't hurt. What did was when they pushed it back in. Lovely.

Owww. The part of your fingertip that isn't covered by the nail is going to hurt. Lots. I once lost a toenail, I feel your pain.

I cracked my head open, got my leg stuck in a roller coaster track. Got a rock hit me right under my eye. My brother stuck scissors through his finger.
Well wrap me around your neck and call me a pedant.

You all make me feel lucky and safe. :p

I've never broken a bone, fractured one, had one pop out, never did anything like that.

However, there was an inch long thorn embedded in my leg. I pulled out after two weeks of it being in there. My dad tried to get it out with a razor-blade. :/

I've also had pneumonia.

I'm pretty sure I've borken a thumb, but it was never medicaly checked out, so I'll never know. I've lso had a two in lond nail go in and out of my foot while still attached to a 5"*5"*5" block of wood... That's the last time I go looking for frogs.
...and diplomacy continues to fail. Their ears fall deaf, and their eyes fall blind, yet they are still not mute. They will not know their errors. Only what they believe themselves. But we... we shall not be silenced.

The exact same thing's happened to me.. But I was looking for frogspawn. :P
While I was on holidays 2 years ago I went on one of those log ride things, the ones that go down chutes of water, but the shoulder rests at the back of the seat were too narrow for me to fit between, so when the ride hit the bottom of the 1st 'hill' I whacked my shoulder blade off it. It hurt a lot at first, and then I had to go down 2 more 'hills' in the thing.
Ended up going to hospital (My mam made a big hullabaloo out of the whole thing, she wanted to shout at the guy handing out tickets  ) and being told I needed to put my arm in a sling for the rest of my holliers..
Never actually broken a bone though, I'm pretty lucky with avoiding danger. :P I once walked straight through a wasps nest hiking in Glenmalure and managed to run off like a girl >.> and not get stung at all.
Never been stung by a bee or a wasp in my whole life. 8)

I've had it too, and I wouldn't call it painful. Unpleasant? Yes, but not painful. Except when you cough so much your chest hurts.

You can't laugh without it hurting, too.

Also, bolding my words made me realize the spelling mistake. :o

well, your invitation to the universe shall definately not go unanswered now

i once decided to cut across the city park after it closed to help a friend catch the last bus home. unfortunately when i climbed over the cast iron gate a spike went straight through my shoe. ended up with a 1cm hole straight though my foot (which strangely didn't bleed).

so, keeping with the topic, here's a picture of some bleeding to turn your stomach (don't worry - i made sure it was family bleeding)

Where's Unholy? He must have a bunch of stories to write here

I have had my fair share of aches and pains, mostly from dancing. When I started pointe work last November I ended up with shin splints on each leg just from the short practice (Voltaren works wonders - I was back up on pointe after two days :D), and in December when I was on pointe I slipped and must have done something to my left foot, cos I'm back in a bandage now just for walking in high heels last night. But the good thing about these kind of injuries is... it's worth it :D

a few months ago my friend totally dislocated his knee dancing salsa. thing is, salsa doesn't have a lot of knee twists, or does it?

Oh, I almost forgot, when I was in first grade, I made the mistake of playing the sport "Running up and down a wet slide". Needless to say, I don't think the scars from getting half the skin scraped off your right leg goes away for quite a while.

I had Lyme's disease once. It hurt real bad when I tried to walk. Oh yeah, and I've been stabbed before.

I've never had any extreme injuries, nothing worse than a dog-bite to the leg, in fact. But I have a friend who sliced off the top of her middle finger while cutting meat.

Ye be damned, Ms. Caz.

Alright. Been stabbed, once by myself in the foot, and another by another person in the thigh.

Been shot, by myself, in the foot.

Been hit with an axe, by myself, in the same foot.

And so many more.
