This wasn't today, but I'll post anyway.
Yesterday i got stung by a bee. It hurt. Not that much, but it hurt.
Fine enough. Today.... My foot is huge(swollen up), it itches, i can't walk normally on it(i have to walk on the heel)....
The only reason i don't kill every bee is see, is because they produce honey.
It is so annoying. It itches so much...gah

Doin my own, thang, and if you got a problem with that

I don't think I'm allergic, because it also happened to my brother.Cactus wrote:Yknow.. that's not normal. Perhaps you're allergic? See a doctor? The Raven wrote:bee... swollen foot.. etc
Wait...Maybe we both are allergic >.>
Maybe it's because i got stung in the thing that's under the big toe (i dunno what it's called :?)

Well, i exaggerated a little. I can walk on my foot, but it feels uncomfortable, and then it begins to itch. I prefer to walk on my heel, because then it does not itch.Leilah wrote:I don't think that much swelling is normal. when i was very young there was this kid down the street who caught a bee in a glass jar. then he opened the jar slightly to look inside and the bee flew out and stung him on the eye. everyone standing around watching was like OUCH!
needless to say his eye and half his face swelled up to the size of a football
today i is doing what i is doing many days - trying to resist winding up the [unspeakable] and getting kicked off this [also unspeakable]. it's inevitable maybe, but i must resist the dark side, nnngh!

It's a fine line, but someone has to walk it.

Vargon - you're pushing your luck but it's funny. i like how this forum is a bubble from the rest of the universe with it's own rules to the contrary. makes me feels there's hope for us yet
but seriously, if we can't have a little fun then why would we come out to play?

Well, since my brother is doing fine, my parents and I went ahead with our plans to visit my grandparents in Florida this week. I'm currently posting from their house [their internet is approx. 45 times faster than ours, and that's only when ours WORKS]. Anyhoo, so far we've only visited an Air Force base [not one of those ninny bases like in Indiana, a REAL base, with razor-wire fencing and guys with assault rifles guarding the gates].
To have something to do on the 19-hour car ride, I bought Prototype, and it is AWESOME! I was watching the ZP review of it, and Yahtzee gave me my new favourite quote [now my sig].

You are a genius! Thank you for finding the answer. Do you think you can come up with a way to get them back also?leroybrown wrote:Oblivion gates of course! Thats where my socks have been running off to. I always thought the dryer ate them.
Last night I was reading in my bed. Suddenly I see something in the corner of my eye, but I dismiss it as a small moth since my window was open and I had my lamp on. Then I realise that the thing isn't flying, it's running which is not so common for moths I believe. I turned my head and saw that it was a SPIDER!!!
I wake up at 6.00 am, and I'm not able to fall asleep again. So for the last three hours I've been walking around in the house, looking like a zombie. Fortunately I mustn't do anything today, except get my hair cut.

WHOOO!
TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP!
I have just got back from London. I went to see Spinal Tap. They were awesome. Some lucky sod in the front row caught Nigel's pick. The Folksmen were good too, and I had to laugh because (a mighty wind spoiler:)

Anyway, today I went over to Kennedy Space Center, which was not nearly as cool as I had thought it would be. There were only two bright spots [three if you count leaving]. One occurred during the annoying as hell tour, where we were over room where machines are finished and inspected before they are put in the shuttle. In this scenario I got to see some Italian scientists working on whatever it was they were putting into space.
The other occurred after my father and I parted ways [he said he wanted to go see the silly I-MAX movies, and I said I'd rather gouge my own eyes out with rusty sporks covered in cyanide]. I was in one of the facility's ridiculously expensive 'restaurants', paying for my 'meal', when the girl in line behind me [who, for some reason, had an Akamaru backpack] apparently noticed my pimpin' Legend of Zelda wallet. After she had paid, and I was still looking for a seat, she caught up and we talked for a while, until her friends came to force her to ride the horrid launch simulator.

Today I woke up (was woken up) around 5am, took my puppy outside for toilet reasons. She stayed out there (she is learning to do so) and from then I simply couldn't sleep... there was no reason why I couldn't or what was stopping me, but I just couldn't sleep after 5am..

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Today I saw Transformers 2 and Step Brothers, pretty good movies.
I'm getting pretty bored and am currently browsing the ghetto of YouTube (videos that have less than 1,000 views) there's some pretty boring stuff there, did they seriously think uploading their videos would be a good idea? They have no idea what tags to use, either.

I was woken up by my kitten, then I slept some more, then I cleaned up after said kitten, who's been having tummy problems ever since he arrived here 2 and a half months ago, then I slept some more.

My achievement of the day is driving back home from Brighton in a personal best time of 2 hours and 10 minutes. That's where I've been for the last few days if anyone was wondering. How is everyone?

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Sorry about your kitten Leilah, hope he gets better soon!
What happened to me today you ask? I got stuck on Dead Space (again), so I decided to dust off the PS2, play Tekken 4, and consume mass quantities of strawberry wine. Now the wine is gone and I have the munchies, so I'm eating peanut butter cookies I made myself a day or two ago and hanging out here before I go to play more Tekken.
It is I, Yoshimitsu!!! Namu!!!
Yes, I know that's from Soulcalibur, not Tekken, but he's in Tekken and he's the only character I've played so far. I probably woudn't even have picked up Tekken had it not been for Yoshimitsu.
