Yeuch! Orange Lucozade always makes me feel iffy if I drink more than half a bottle...
I like the citrus one though.
I didn't do much gardening, but I went for a 2 and a half hour walk with the dog, ended up carrying her most of the way because she just lay down after an hour.
I broke my big toe today, I didn't even know I broke it untill I noticed I couldn't feel it or move it but life goes on, I just have to be more careful when I skateboard
First I went to the dentist, and after that I stopped by to get myself a fancy new wallet. On the way home, I received a call from Operation Life that my brother Joel was in a car accident. Apparently he had been waiting to turn onto my street when a rock truck [i.e. a truck that carries gravel and rocks] hit his car from behind, pushing him into oncoming traffic.
Fortunately, he was lucky. He ended up with a lot of cut and bruises, and had to have a lot of stitches, especially on his face. He'll be fine, but he's going to be bedridden for a few days because his injuries make it very painful to walk.

You're tougher than I. I'd be milking that for at least a year.

Reply to my PM -removed-. That's assuming you actually got it...

Today I went to the strawberry fields and picked meself a box of strawberries
At the moment we have 7kg of fresh strawberries, we're gonna buy chocolate and cream and then it's omnom time!
Edit: Chocolate-dipped strawberries with whipped cream really are sinfully good I'll have to save some for tomorrow..
I've drunk alcohol for the first time. Well, previously, I've only had less than a glass of wine in one day. Today, I've had twelve shots of whiskey; I feel pretty tired and uncaring about everything...
Varmor: Get yourself some Pear Cider, it's thoroughly delicious... not that I'd know, or anything... Some people might tell you it's a woman's drink, but they're wrong. It's the drink of the hemi-semi-demi-gods. (the first three lots of gods have been taken by other drinks )
So, Neil Young and various others in Hyde Park last night.
The weather alternated between 'very hot' and 'wet and very hot' which was far from ideal.
Seasick Steve was awesome as always.
Ben Harper And Relentless7 made a lot of noise but didn't really move, a bit like the sort of cars Leroy is into. His backing band looked like a pub band and he spent nearly all of the set sitting down to play pedal steel guitar, which he was very good at but it did kind of look like he was ironing.
Fleet Foxes took a while to get going. I'm not sure that opening with 10 minutes of low-key folk jamming to an audience mostly unfamiliar with them who were being rained on was a good idea. Then they hit us with a medley of English House and White Winter Hymnal and suddenly became awesome.
Neil Young just threw up highlight after highlight. Considering he's approaching 70 he's very animated onstage, which is more than can be said for his backing band, especially the bassist who just looked like a roadie setting up for the proper bassist. He came on and thrashed through Hey Hey My My with the loudest, most distorted guitar sound I've ever heard live. Other highlights were:
A truly epic performance of Down By The River which I reckon went on for about 20 minutes. He is truly the master of the really long guitar solo.
Cinnamon Girl, in particular the last chord probably lasting for longer than the rest of the song.
Him getting out his acoustic for a load of oldies like Heart Of Gold and Old Man.
Rockin' In The Free World - everyone singing along to the chorus, and more false endings than a Monty Python film.
Oh, and him randomly bringing on some guy called Paul McCartney for the encore.
The night ended with me seeing the queue at Marble Arch tube station and deciding it would be much better to walk all the way up Edgware Road to Paddington and pick the tube up there. It was a good call.
This thread should be called what happened to you yesterday.
I didnt do a whole lot yesterday. Tried to go to a house party at the beach but the cops kicked everyone out so i went to an alternate location and played beer pong.
What im about to say is going to make me sound like an ostentatious tool; i did so good in beer pong i actually started to feel bad. I went undefeated, i stopped playing because i was slaughtering so badly and i wanted others to get a chance to play. I think ive started to discover something about me, im really really really competitive. Only in certain things though like pool, poker, fuseball, and of course beer pong. I keep saying one day we need to set up a camera for the awesome shots and psych-outs.
Oh and r, my truck may be loud, but it will blow the doors off of the umm whatever it is you drive.
Are you kidding? He was like one of the coolest guys ever.

Not saying anything, but Micheal Jackson did really not die unexpected.
He wasn't healthy. At all. All those pills and medicine..
Not good for you body.
Although he wasn't very healthy, the pill over dose was the same as Heath Ledger (best actor to me ) so it's sad that all famous (spotlight) people reffer to 'pills' for mood relaxers
