what was the best year of your life, why?
what was the worst? why?
I can't really say its the best but this year. Or June 06 when I discovered Oblivion heehee
05 was the worst I just moved and was the new kid. I got into the wrong 'crowd' and became friends with wrong people. That year socially screwed me over and no one wants to know the really me 4 years later.

So far, this has been the best year of my life.
Oh, I've been hurt and I've been stressed but I've also experienced so many wonderful new things and I've really found my place. Also, at the moment I think my life is going in all the right direction, I think the rest of the year will be good too.

As for the worst year...I'm not sure but it might've been 2006. I had been quite asocial before that but it was beginning to change but I didn't really know how to deal with it. It was quite a confusing and frustrating time.

Best year so far would probably have to be whatever year I first finished reading The Hitch-Hiker "trilogy". They have been almost a beacon in the darkness, whenever there has been darkness.

Worst year... hmmm... I can think of two periods of a month or so that have occured over the last year and a half where I was really depressed, to the point of not going into school a few days because I couldn't face it. I didn't listen to music, read or anything... I regret that, because what snapped me out of the first period was actually Monty Python's Galaxy song.

So yeah...

The worst would have to be 6th grade. I was stupid, really.

My best year was last year when I met my Girlfriend

My worst year would have to be 2005 when I found out in one day that my best friend was cheating with my girlfriend and my parents were getting divorced

I hope that's yet to come since I've yet to even finish college. though as for best year so far? that'd prolly be 2004 when i really got into some crappy MMO's and managed to make it on the highschool football team and let off some steam on some of the jerks i grew up with (and not worry about parents getting mad).

worst year so far was... well i'm going to have to say 4th grade cause i can't remember a good chunk of it for some reason

Worst was 7th grade:
I'd come home with a new bruise or cut every day, it seemed. 'Twas suckage.

I'd say my best year was this year, it was.........fun.
I'd say my worst was......whatever year 5th grade was. I hated all the teachers.

actually he pointed the rifle down the ground stupidly and shot himself after stabbing his own foot with the bayonet.

quite comical actually.

he has also gotten his foot with an axe. that one i am not sure of though.

So, he was holding a gun with a bayonet fixed on it, had it on the ground and the bayonet decided to ram itself in his foot, he fumbled, and went down on the trigger? Strange.

hard to say. Maybe this year because my friends have been stable, and i've found myself thinking a lot more insightfully and philosophically due especially to this forum and all the topics that make you think deeply. I've been very happy this year. While I have had many sad times, I think I've been able to appreciate the happy times a lot more this year.

2004 was a great year...

In all truthfulness, this is a miserably idiotic idea for a thread.
People live so few years...SO many events occur every year. Some good, some bad. It usually balances out to a standard average.

A topic regarding best and worst days, best and worst moments, best and worst memories would be a bit better, but what you proposed was just too general.

I think it's a great idea for a topic. Haven't seen a topic like this before.

And we can always change the course of this topic a bit and talk about good/bad days, worst/best moments etc.

My best year still has to come

. My best year so far is 2007 though. I played Oblivion 3-4 hours a day and I was lucky to have a friend that played even more. We talked about it all the time at school.
Unfortunately, his scores weren't high enough so he went to a different school last year.

My worst year is probably 2008. I really had a hard time on school thanks to some teachers.
