Overlord Discussion Thread

The place to talk all things Overlord :)

Who hopes that, in Overlord 2, you meet up with the old Overlord (The one you played in the first game)? Be a very interesting "Hi Dad" moment, wouldn't it? :P

i liked the first overlord so i am def getting this one.

i only wish they made the game a bit more strategic... instead of just ordering your minions to attack all at once i would prefer an army feel to it.

Ebay is your friend :)

But yeah, I agree, Dark Lord, more minion control! (And more of them, 50 fully armoured brown minions isn't enough, damnit! )

This may come as a shocker to some, but I actually didn't like Overlord that much. It was ok, i guess, but quickly lost interest in it and traded it back in a while back.

I hope part 2 is an improvement. :D

Isn't daddy stuck in that weird hell like place with his new wraith-thingy army? And don't all overlords end up there?

I got the game, and I enjoy it. It's pretty fun! I want Overlord 2, I also played the demo on XBL, and thought it was better.

^^
SPOILERS AHEAD:

Yes it's part of the DLC Raising Hell which at the end of you (the old overlord) get stuck in some nether land with his new army of wraith things after impregnating his mistress (the new overlord). Oh and the whole thing about all overlords ending up there is because when there is enough evil in the world a nexus opens to this underworld place and the well hell ensues. Which means the old overlord might be in this one  a good ol' boss fight against daddy would be awesome! A serious I am your father parody would be funny

Only problem with that is, The old Overlord can't talk, and I doubt his son can either.

Though, Lego Starwars did get over that little hurdle (And covered it in clown paint :P )

They could do what Lego Star Wars did! :D

Also, how long has Overlord been out? Because some of the release games of the 360 are being released on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and if Overlord was on there I would buy it. I played the demo and it seemed fun :P .

Like I said :P

And I don't think it will be on the market place for a while (It's only about 2-3 years old)
