A wide area paralyze spell.

I explore a random dungeon with my Dark Elf archer. I sneak upon a small ledge and spot 5 enemies in a big room underneath it. I equip my bow, jump down, cast the spell and kill everyone in 1 hit while they're laying paralyzed on the ground.
Also funny: simply stabbing them with your knife one-for-one (this requires at least a 3-4sec. paralyze spell).

Since I am not playing a pure mage character and haven't had the chance yet, I find Wizard's Fury to be the best. Very good damage/magicka ratio, it's my all purpose "oh I have magicka I should use it" spell.

I want to try out some of these other things though.

it is cheap to cast considering what it does, you get it during the mage guild plotline and it does loads of varied damage. If you combine it with a weakness to fire/lightning/cold/magic spell, it is apocalyptic

and paralysis on a mountain side. Watch the bears roll down the slope...

I like to use a spell i called Ownage it dose 75 fire damage in a 5 foot radius for 3 seconds.
