I got my birthday present early as my little sister told me what it was. Not sure if I'm happy about this development or not :? Well anyway it was Guitar Hero:World on Tour with a Guitar, Drum set, and microphone.

I'm finishing next year, and I'm decidedly unhappy about the idea of finishing. Being a student is fun.

Anyway, on topic: today I went to write an exam, only one more to go for now, and actually met somebody I often speak to on my studying forum, which was kind of weird since it's the first time I've ever spoken to somebody after an exam. I'm almost off to work, then I'm going to watch tv, then I'm going to sleep.

What kinda desk are you painting, is it a computer desk or is it just some desk that you put your pc on? If you need any advice on painting im the man to see, im like michaelangelo, i hate painting but im good at it.
I don't really need advise, I'm not doing anything special. I just splash the paint on and hope it will dry as fast as possible.

My day began in a lovely way. 3 hours and 20 minutes of writing physics exam, and it started at 8 am. Great...not!

I biked 6 miles in pouring rain, to and from school today. I feel like I jumped in a pool.

I once biked 9 miles through a hurricane. I'm not joking in the least. It was.. unpleasant.

Well, it's a long story. I'll summarize :
I like money.

Okay, maybe that's too much of a summary..
Basically, my sister was living with me in exchange for driving me to work every day. She randomly moved to another town without telling me and I had little choice but to go to work or get evicted from my place. Work happened to be nine miles away and a hurricane happened to be around and I happened to own nothing better than a bicycle. So, yeh..
Fun times!

On the other hand, people felt sorry for me for days, and the story is still told around work even though that was 5+ years ago.

Forgive my ignorance of the British education system, but what the crap is uni? The Brit equivalent of college?

har har!

the uk system is a bit confusing. there are colleges, universities and polytechniques. some of the polytechniques put their students through extra courses in order to offer the same courses as universities and be able to compete with them. for example, napier in edinburgh, scotland is technically a polytechnique - not a propper university. well, it was when i went anyway. as for colleges, i'm not sure where they fit in. people go to them after secondary school and the qualifications you need to go to colleges are less than polytechniques and universities.

then there's secondary schools and the difference between the scottish and english system. scotland has standard grades and highers whereas england has o-levels and a-levels. when i went to university in scotland i had to bring my math up to o-level standard because my scottish math higher wasn't high enough (even though i was going to a scottish uni). confusing :?
It's a fine line, but someone has to walk it.

My Laptop came yesterday =D. Even if it was having problems (crashed the very first time I booted it up...before the computer setup could be run). It's working fine now. Yes it's a laptop, but its monumentally better than my current computer (My current computer is a gateway, the laptop is a Dell).

I'm also able to play Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars which, while fun at first, is kind of a let down (at least on the GDI campaign). Almost every mission is OH CRAP!! You have nothing but these few troops and you must survive against these 3 bases. There are Reinforcements but you have to fight to them, then fight back to use them. Good Luck....I HATE those kind of missions -_- (I don't mind doing a few, but when three or four missions are like that in a row (out of 15 total missions) it gets annoying). That and the lady they got as your intelligence officer doesn't do "Talking to yourself like you are speaking to someone" very well at all.

Started the NOD campaign, at least their intelligence officer isn't as bad at talking to himself...But I miss Lando in the cutscenes =/.

The books I ordered weren't available for immediate shipping (even though they didn't say anything about that anywhere on the page it was in the shipment tracking thing only...2 days is what we ordered and they LIED...stupid Amazon) so I only got the Prequel, which I must say is really good (I finished the day I got it).
