MD Saddlebags "Lite"

I installed this wonderful mod because it just bugged me that horses didn't carry anything and I really did not want to spend every single level upgrading my strength in order to haul more loot around. Anyway, it worked great with the horse I owned at the time. (the free prior's horse)

However, when I later purchased a white horse (more health so requires less frequent healing plus more carrying capacity) it started off with an encumberance of 850/800. i.e. it could not move because it was 50lbs overweight. Yet, when I checked its inventory there was nothing there. I tried every combination of putting in stuff, removing it again, several console commands but it refused to drop the phantom 850lbs. Anyone have any ideas?

Best for the mods section but I can understand where that gets a lot less activity. My best suggestion is to go to the site where you downloaded it and see if you can ask the person who created the mod.

Yeah, I thought of that but registering all over the place is starting to get to me.

In fact, I'm registered on so many bloody forums it turned out I was already registered on TES source where the mod was listed and just sent him an email.

try to deactivate the mod and activate it again

Tried that several times. I even alternated when I activated it relative to the purchase but no go.
