Pickpocketing

Is it possible to get pickpocketed, or have ur possessions nicked from your house?

I will say no. Ive played oblivion for almost 200 hours, and I've never got anything stolen from me.

I have read of people who put things in chest and have them disappear. Whether it was stolen or the chest reset or what not, not sure. But I have read of it happening.

Almost every chests that the player doesn't own, will reset in 3 (game) days. I'm sure thats what happend.

Yes, that's one of the flaws of Oblivion. Things can actually disappear and never be seen again.

thanx guys its just i put Umbra in after choosin to not give it to clavicus and lost it but it was auto save so got i back

yea. don't put thing in chests unless you own them. i lost so many quest items like that in morrowind!

I shacked up in Cloud Ruler Temple, and I assumed (since I was in the blades) that I could store my loot in the chest above a sleeping roll; which I could, and continued to do so for like a week of rl time.

After putting some awesome loot from the end of the main quest (robes and such) it reset. [&@%!]!
