Dupe Item glitch for x-360
Dupe Item glitch for x-360
Just for Sh*ts & Giggles or Beers & Skittles, I wanted to poke around with this to see if I could make it work. My xbox 360 is only about a 2 weeks old and I havent gone online to patch the game yet, but when I tried to do the duplicate item glitch, it wouldnt work. Tried several different versions but none of them blossomed.
No big deal, I'll make it regardless, but thought it would have really helped at least as far as getting alchemy done quickly! Anyone have any suggestions on how to stamp out alchemy quickly or if they did something to recent xbox harddrives so they automatically come with the glitch fix or something for the duplicate item stuff?

hrm. So it appears maybe the xbox already came with the updates then on it huh... wonder if I can find that out or turn them off...
Or maybe I'm just doing it wrong... i pull back my arrow and without letting loose, hit B... while in inventory, i equip a different set of arrows, then find something i want duped and drop it... once its dropped, i hit B again to go back to the screen and all tha thappens is i let loose the arrow and then drop the item...
no dupes.

On the 360 you dont have to shoot it with arrows.
I like to use my fists. Just attack, and b4 it finishes go to your menu by pressing B. Now press (A) on the set of arrows twice, and rotate through the menu to the item you want to drop. Press X to drop it, then press B to exit out of the menu. The item should now be duped to as many arrows u had pressed on.
I used to use arrows but I kept on losing them when I duped, so fists are the thing for me.

Hey guys
Ya, I had followed the detailed instructions time and time again, yet all that would happen is *twang* arrow fires and *clank* item drops...
So I tried using my fists... *Trumpets Sound* "TADAAAAA"... 112 Sigil Stones rolled all over the place. So just in case anyone wonders in the future... fists seem to work ALOT better on Xbox 360 as opposed to a bow. But hey, whatever floats yer boat
Thank you all for the input here and helping me get this resolved!

Heh, getting this to work was a pain at first for me too. I use arrows, never knew about the fists. Might try that out.
The real pain is if you duplicate something small. 200 ruby necklaces might look pretty on the floor but they're a nightmare to pick up.
I've never tried it with rings before...on a dark carpet that would be one hell of a hunt.

Yep. Just drop arrows. That's how I get my numbers up in order to increase duplication; I duplicate arrows rather than buy or steal more. Works a treat. ^_^anyway back on topic this seems like a really cool glitch does anyone wonder if this is possible with arrows as in you can duplicate them?
