HOW DO YOU PICK POCKETS!??! HELP!!

I cant find out how to pick pockets in morrowind ANYWHERE. Can someone pleaze fill me in? I have a fighters guild quest where i have to steal somthing from a thieves guild member. I cant kill her cuz im in thieves guild also. Can somebody PLLZZZ tell me how to pick pockets??

that's a difficult one, you can't pickpocket, I think you'll have to persuade her to give it to you...

on xbox, you sneak and then go behind the person, press a

You can pickpocket.

If you go into sneak mode (by pressing the relevant key on PC, or clicking the left thumbstick on XBox) and the sneak icon is active, then by interacting with a person (ie "talking") you will have access to (parts of) their inventory.

You have to have a very high sneak skill to get away with it, though. If you're doing the quest I think you are (Sottilde) then you simply raise her disposition sufficiently for her to give it to you. Alternatively, taunt/frenzy her into attacking you then kill her and take the book from her body.

I think you meant "less tiresome".

"Less tireless" means more convenient, once you wade through the double negatives.
