Tutorial

Post by branlord »

I was just thinking, would it be better to skip the tutorial period, just by running and healing when needed. And then just lvling skills outside. Or is there another way of doing this? The tutorial is just messing my build :/

You could do that if you're trying to efficient level and don't want those skill increases to mess up your build. If you do do this, then make sure you don't wear any armor, so that you don't get hit and have your armor skill increase.

If you're on a PC there's a mod that gets rid of the tutorial.

Also, make sure you don't heal too much, or your restoration skill will increase. Try to run and not get hit, then when you meet up with the Blades, let them kill any enemies following you. Then you can wait to restore your health.

I recommend that one (the one Kestral said), I have been using it during my whole OblivionPC career, and I find it is great for role-playing/quick starting a new character.
