I would also add more enemies. The same old ones over and over again get repetitious. I'm getting tired of fighting Ogres, Brown Bears, and Bandits every time I take a walk.
If you could add anything to Oblivion - What would it be?

The first thing I would add is Levitation. It was so fun in Morrowind. I think it was pretty dumb of Bethesda to take it out. They could have found a way around this. Levitation better be in TES5!

cool dark brotherhood quests. Assassinate that COW in chancellor ocato's bedroom. Im arch mage and she reported me! I sneaked throughout for nothing!
kill a count or countess. Eliminate cave of morag tong on the border or something like that.
Though I LOVED the twists. Kill my family? traitor's diary and a woman's head? I NEVER saw that coming...

Well, there's a bunch of new things I'd like to see in Oblivion, but the main ones are;
1. Ability to move furniture, or pick it up
I hate how you absolutely HAVE to stick with what they give you in your house. I mean, would it be so bad to let me move all of the bookshelves into a different room, so it's more like a library? Or move the bed into a smaller room, so I could use the (larger) bedroom as something else? Really, it feels pretty limited as far as houses go.
2. Construction
It would be nice if you could build, I dunno, a shack. You have to collect wood from some trees, and buy nails, hammers, and all that good stuff. Then set up a few walls, and eventually buy some furniture. You could end up creating your own house
3. Ability to smith your own armor
It would be a nice skill to have, to be able to bang some metal into a nice cuirass. Or maybe just have it in the Armorer skill, instead of a separate one.
4. Fishing?
Just a thought
5. Biracial characters
Got this idea from the grey prince in the arena. It would be cool to choose what races your parents were (i.e. an orc with an imperial).

Spoiler Warning?XmanXavier11 wrote:The ability to sneak into the Imperial Palace. I know that you can do it in the thieves guild, but after that, you can't go back in, it sucks. I wanted to rob the place fully.

-Boats.
Small boats, big boats, war boats, fishing boats etc
A big change in the game obviously, to layer this correctly would be a challenge not to mention getting the boat to the water if it's small.
-As was said earlier, War.
-Mercenaries. The ability to hire bandits, or guards and starts your own band and maybe 'claim' a cave or area as your own would be nice. Also the ability to clear out a piece of land and make your own house anywhere would be awesome.
-ALL PEOPLE SHOULD BE KILLABLE
This is what I HATE about games, especially games where you can just HATE some people. In fable II, for example, I wanted to kill the Hero of Skill SO HARD after he shot Barnum, but I couldn't, even after he had served his purpose. It's my opinion that if you kill someone, you should either have to find a way around it (think oblivion and when that guy at Kvatch with the key CAN die, but doesn't have to). or else fail the quest.
-As was also said earlier, the Guards shouldn't automatically KNOW about your crimes. Maybe just a regular greeting and then a 'confess' option if you want to lose your penalty. In reasonable situations of course..if the guard was THERE and SAW it, then obviously he's not gonna be oblivious.
-Better/More Clothes
I'm often disappointed by the clothes available in the game, and it's kind of annoying when there isn't really anything good.
-Custom Magic
This is a fantastical situation, as I know this will pretty much NEVER happen, but the ability to create your very own spells with their own original effects would be epic. Absolutely epic.
While this is still impossible, it'd be also cool if you could level up these custom spells too...but that's just me.
-Summoning Armies
One at a time summons are so DULL. Maybe it would work so that when you summon them, they permanently take up a portion of your magicka, and you can only summon as many as you can hold with that amount of magicka.
-More Land
Probably another 'Never happening' situation, but I think that a game with All/More provinces would be SO much better. This would make long distance travel entertaining, and add hours and hours of more entertainment..
-Highway Robbery
This point will cover all the unrealistic aspects. All NPC's should have a 'Courage, or Bravery' aspect to them, where you can threaten them for money, or their possessions. Obviously if you tried this on the Arena grand champion...Run. Edit: Forgot to expand on this more..lol I was gonna go into how like..you could use fear to make people do things they otherwise wouldn't do, or make them not tell the guards etc.
-I agree on the 'more customizable characters' part, and obviously there should be children too.
-This one is a little bizarre, because I'm not sure what I'm looking for, but I think that the combat could be MUCH more epic. Fable 2's system was pretty epic on occasion, what with the Slow Motion at Key parts, but it's obviously not all that great. When a battle is just slash slash block, slash slash block, then it gets boring fast.
-Sex.
Don't look at me like that. I know I wasn't the first to think it.
-A Remove enchantment quest/altar.
-Alot more I'm too lazy to list, but will probably get to eventually.

I think being able to smith your own weapons/armor would be AMAZING. Like, you can go mining for ore, then use the ore to make bars, then the bars to make weapons... sorry if it sounds too much like Runescape (MAN, I hate that game...), but it would add a lot of depth to the game, I think. I suppose this could also work with robes and light armor and whatnot, but with different "ingredients" and stuff.
Another idea of mine is having another questline that will eventually give you access to "god mode." Yeah, it's kind of a stretch. But it would be fun to control everything... causing earthquakes, wildfires, thunderstorms... and watching all the underlings suffer. That's probably more of an idea for a different game, though.

This might be silly or sad but what i've always wanted is somewhere to display full armour sets. Like a manequin or something. i've got lots of full sets of stuff I no longer wear. I'd love to have it on display in an entrance hall or something.
I'm sure i remember reading something about this somewhere but have never found it since. Am i right that its not possible? It would be a fun addition.
By the way, I've only just joined the forum. Hello!
