Hand to Hand - Damage inflicted?

I'm currently playing through Oblivion again and I'm tired of slashing and smashing my enemies, it's time to kick some ass (or punch for that matter).

So, my question...

How do you tell the damage inflicted by your hands? Is it the balled up fist with the number next to it when hovering over "hand to hand" or is it not even displayed?

Help would be appreciated :]

There's some good mods around that modify the hand to hand damage ratio and other martial things...take a look on the elder scrolls source website you'll find somthing there

yeh the hand shows the amount of damage you do when punching
