well I'm relatively new here so can somebody give me the lowdown on things?like what to post and what not to post etc.

p.s. How can I put a signature and avatar?I think it said something about me having to wait 10 days or something.

edit:i know how to put in the codes and things for the actual avatar & signature,but is it that i have to wait to implement them?

Go to your profile and somewhere along the bottom of the page it should have a section for your avatar.

Insert a direct link (copy the URL from the webpage when you click view image when right click it).

Or upload it.

For the signature just insert the text you want.

Right now you can't use links.

The 10-day wait is on posting links and images, since this restriction prevents a lot of spambots from being able to post. I am pretty sure that it will allow you to set an avatar by uploading it before you've actually been here 10 days.

As far as what to post and where, if it's about a specific TES game, post it in the appropriate forum. If it's about mods or modding, there are also forums for that. For everything else, there's the General forum.

I think you have to wait for the signature, but not the avatar.
