What does YOUR house look like?
Do you spend hours decorating your house, making it perfect in every way? Or maybe you just bought that shack in the waterfront because it had a bed. Or MAYBE, you don't even have a house. D:
But anyways, what do YOU do with your house?
I semi-decorated rosethorn-hall in Skingrad, by taking everything that wasn't nailed down and dumping it in a random box. Then I put up various artifacts (i.e. savilla's stone from the thieves' guild quests or the blade of woe from the dark brotherhood, plus other stuff) , and even made my own library in the bedroom since there wasn't any shelves in the basement (which was my initial plan), but then they just ended up piling up in the general area around the desk along with a few lit torches for good measure. But what I was thinking about was making it more "evil" like. With mort flesh, bones, various daggers and skulls. And maybe a few dead corpses. Do you guys have any ideas for how I could make it more evil? But anyways, what do you guys do with your houses?

You could place human hearts and human skin around the house. You could also do the non-journal quest The Horror of Dive Rock, to get Svenja's Remains and put them in your house.PinballWizard wrote:Do you guys have any ideas for how I could make it more evil?

Yeah, I went to do that quest, killed that man, and then he fell all the way into God only knows where. I didn't even think about it. I didn't know that he was even important. I thought that this dismembered lady was hiding in a cave nearby. I was wrong thoughTeinaava wrote:You could also do the non-journal quest The Horror of Dive Rock, to get Svenja's Remains and put them in your house.

Depends what type of character I'm using, if it's a warrior or just someone really noble or rich, the skingand one, for theives, the waterfront shack, and for mages and evil characters the anvil house
Also, to make it seem more evil, add vile looking ingredints (Human heart/skin, scamp skin, daedra heart, daedroth teeth, and so on) add skulls and bones, use comaned humaniod to get people who's body never disserper (Ask Teinaava 'bout that) ,then them, and put weapons, tongs and other interments near the bodys.
I'm SO evil its not funny
Oh, and Teinaava? that was revenge for 1-up-ing me before

All right, coolio. But how would I get these people into my house? I mean, I GUESS I could punch them, and run all the way to Skingrad, but is there an easier way? Or do you know of any that live in Skingrad or at least close to it?Teinaava wrote:Here's a list of all NPCs whose body won't disappear:Permanent CorpsesBlue the Thief wrote:use comaned humaniod to get people who's body never disserper (Ask Teinaava 'bout that)

You can use a Command Humanoid spell to get them into your house.PinballWizard wrote:But how would I get these people into my house? I mean, I GUESS I could punch them, and run all the way to Skingrad, but is there an easier way?

in one of dark brotherhood quests you get the access to that farm with dead body in it and also to the head and some other stuff lying arround. it's actually ini anvil lighthouse basement, but i am not sure you can gain access without doing the DB quest.
otherwise yeah bones. plenty of them arround and no use for them. you can't even make them into bonemeal...

Another thing I've been thinking about doing is making my own shop in my basement. Taking different armors and weapons, with a small little wall made from duplicated bricks for use as a counter.
ANOTHER idea I have is taking my anvil house basement (the one with the maze-like winding hallway), and dropping like 30 different lit torches, with all sorts of bones, skulls, mort flesh, and all that good stuff. And of course corpses :D

If you've completed the Mages Guild, you could use the Staff of Worms on the bodies, then the bodies would follow you.PinballWizard wrote:But how would I get these people into my house?
I decorated the houses in Skingrad and Chorrol. I put various weapons, soul gems, and jewels in the display cases in Skingrad. I placed crystal balls and Alchemy ingrediants and equipment in the house in Chorrol to give it the mage feel.

My favorite house is my pimped out Skingrad house and my Dark Manor (Benirus Manor).
I'll update this post later maybe and add more details as to what they look like.

Signature? What? I'd need a pen! But wait, I can't write my signature on the **** screen! And this ain't no check or contract! Whadda need my signature for?
I have items stocked in just about every player owned area in the game. I would have to say my nicest house, or castle, is Battlehorn. The stuffed statues, guards at my command, and secret hiding places just pwn.
Every chest is so filled to the brim, the game lags when I open some. It froze once when I was depositing items from a plundered cave. I didn't save and I was SO [&@%!].
