How do you turn on an AGM M8 flip phone?

I am sorry for such a horribly off-topic post, but I'm at wits end and I may end up just throwing the thing against the wall until it is sand.

Phones are technology, though, right?

Anyway, I bought an AGM M8 flip phone and I can't figure out how to turn it on.

I've put in the battery, and the sim card. I put it on the charger.

None of the buttons do anything.

And do not even get me started on the "manual",

Please I hope one of you has this phone so you can clue me in. Thank you.

It seems the AGM will randomly decide to not make or answer calls until it is turned off an on again. The new phone (not an AGM) is much better
