New play through, need build help

Post by oplein »

Just bought the special edition because I wanted the dlc and mods but now I’m struggling with what to play as. I always go as a stealth archer. I just love sneaking places and messing people Up before they know I’m there, and I love the dark brotherhood and the thieves guild. This time I’m determined to do a heavy armor/two handed weapon character. How possible Is it to still play those two factions with this kind of character? A bit worried, so I might just do a stealth archer again but I want to mix it up.

Very possible. My first éver Dovahkiin was Heavy armor and 2h(battleaxe) Just be sure to get Firebolt and have a bit of normal clothing to switch to when
Spoiler:
aquiring certain items of questionable ownership from houses
A couple of Sneak perks and muffled boots wouldn't hurt.

since there is no leveling limit (of character levels and you can make skill legendary again and again) there is nothing stopping you to begin as heavy and switch to light or the other way around either temporary or long term (gear or/and perks or get perks for both builds and just switch gear when needed) . my first "serious" character started heavy and got to master of all trades(every guild finished and almost everything in skyrim done xcept few misc quests and objectives by level 250ish) and when i begun new character on special edition with light armor/sneak/magic focus i was quite surprised how fragile my new char was.

My last Stealth Archer character used Heavy Armour with no problems - the Steed Stone (which makes worn armour weightless) is all you need.

Not sure how stealthy swinging a 2H weapon would be, but definitely worth a laugh at least... :D
Apathy is on the rise, but no-one cares.

Absolutely worth a chuckle, especially when they slam the floor and everyone else( except those right next to them) are none the wiser.
