Merchants keeps following me inside the shop

Hello, my first post. I've played Oblvion many times, but recently decided to do it again.
Now I have a problem old in the internet, but completly new for me.

The problem is that when I'm entering to any shop, the merchant immediately runs to me like an Adoring Fan.
I discovered, that happens only after making the quest "Stendarr's mercy"(gauntlets of the Crusader) in KOTN expansion. I mean, not after completing this quest, but after a first talk with Kellen.
All the game seems to be alright, and this problem is just only annoying.
The game is with KOTN and SI expansions, version 1.2.0214, not so much mods installed.

I can't post links with topics with same problem from gamefaqs forum, but only need to browse "oblivion merchants following me" in Google, and you will find it.

Check out the last section of the following page, which suggests that this behavior could be related to the Shivering Isles Reference Bug:

The part about the merchants' behavior was removed from the Wiki page because there was a question as to whether it had anything to do with the Shivering Isles Reference Bug; but the talk at the bottom of that page (linked above) suggests that it is (or can be) related.

I downloaded Reference Bug Fix from Oblivion Nexus and it solved this problem (I hope forever )

I think I've been bitten by the SI Reference Bug, even though I've got the latest/greatest all-in-one GOTY-plus-all-other-official-DLC version from the Steam store, which I would have hoped has any and all official patches and bug fixes already applied.

Anyway, I'm glad I was able to point you in the right direction!
