ESO General Discussion

Post by Avron the S'wit »

Oh Online subforum, it is high time you had your own general discussion thread. Here's a place to chat more casually about your adventures in Second Era Tamriel, with or without others! Let's get to it!

----

I've been farming the Forgotten Wastes public dungeon for the Sixth House robe pieces I'm missing and just...if I get any more spools of thread, I'm sending it to the Nerevarine so they can sew Dagoth Ur's mouth shut with it. :wat:

However, it's a great place to play I Spy. For example, I spy with my little eye something that tried to surprise folks so they died. Voracity, I tell ya! Knock it off, man.

I was farming the Forgotten Wastes the other week for Sixth House recipe fragments. I already had two, but I keep getting the same one over and over. I did finally get one new piece, so now I have three.

I've given up on (read: gotten bored with) the Forgotten Wastes for now and have moved on to farming Nchuleftingth for Dwemer Theodolite recipe fragments. I already had two, then one night I joined some guild members and we went through Nchuleftingth. I found two new pieces, and afterward one of my fellow guild members sold me a piece that he'd found, so then I had five pieces. And the other night I went through solo and found a sixth piece. Now I have to decide whether to keep grinding Nchuleftingth for the final piece or just buy it from a guild trader.

I managed to trade with another guild member for pieces we didn't have, but I've still got three pieces to go. I went back to some main quest lines to give myself a break. Not surprisingly, in those zones RNGsus was overwhelmingly benevolent and gave me some 15 furnishing motifs and 3 purple recipes in about 20 minutes, most of it junk... Mmmhmmm. I see how it is.

I thought about doing Nchuleftingth next, but I think I'm going to go all in for the kitten in Summerset next. It'll be a good way to sate my unquenchable desire for all things feline as well as give my alt a good reason to jump over to the Summerset zone for quests. I'd been saving them and I'm just about ready for them! I wanted to take him through CWC first but stalled with all the disappearing walls; haven't run into any in a while, though, so I think it's safe for him to go and finish with our friend Sotha Sil. For now.

Of course, the PC-NA guild is doing a lot of really great things this week as well to spice things up. There's the trials group tonight and a great PVP-101 class coming up as well. Going to be a really exciting week! :D

I really ought to join the UESP guild. :)

If you need the Sixth House Tailor's Hammer, I have an extra one. And I have two extra pieces of the Dwarven Theodolite-- I'd have to check to see which ones they are.

I'd like to get the rest of the kitten pieces, too-- I have two, but lately nothing has been dropping for me. And there's also the Psijiic Ambrosia or whatever, which I thought was obtained from Summerset daily quests-- but then I got a new fragment (bringing me to three) as part of the rewards for doing a daily provisioning writ, so I think I was mistaken about where they drop from.

I hope you will. Everyone is great and I've learned a lot of new things, even after all my years of playing. They're very patient with casuals like me. ;)

As for runebox pieces - @ me in the game sometime, assuming you're PC-NA: I have 3 extra bits of the Sixth House stuff I'd be happy to swap with you if you needed any. I can't remember which ones I have off the top of my head with the thread.

On that note, the Midyear Mayhem event starts today! I missed it last year so I'm excited. Tonight I'm going to one of the guild's PVP-101 classes, so hopefully I can learn some stuff. This is the one holiday I don't have a title for on any characters, so time to fix that!

Shout out to the UESP PC-NA Guild, with whom I've had so much fun playing ESO, man. Good eggs in that guild who not only can teach you a lot but also make the game super fun, and sometimes downright silly.

Case and point... Who wore it better, UESP Trial Night edition (note: not the best screenshot quality):

I like creative uses of the game. There was a player/guild raising money for Extra Life. Every character who climbed to the top of the fountain in Daggerfall was a dollar, and someone matched it, I believe.

Took me a while to figure out (physics!), but your s'wit represented. :D
