Re: Silly/weird things you always do in Oblivion
I have casual wear for walking around cities and things like that and then armour for when I'm adventuring or in combat. I close doors I open, it just feels like something I should do. I like doing parkour once my acrobatics is good enough, I just jump all over the buildings in cities. Also I go bear rolling with the paralyse spell because it's hilarious. Cruel but hilarious.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Re: Silly/weird things you always do in Oblivion
Similar to Ida Vlinorman, I'm usually jumping off of things from high altitudes all the time (even after reaching 100 Acrobatics). Despite some of the unexpected deaths it can cause early on, it's a habit that never really goes away. It's always amusing later on to see the tiny amount of damage I take from jumping off a mountain or some other great height.
Aside from this, I usually carry more potions and repair hammers than I could ever hope to use, though I'll get rid of the repair hammers once I reach 100 Armorer. Eventually I do have to store or sell some of them, but I usually keep enough on me that I have to rely on a selection of feather and fortify strength spells to be able to carry any loot I pick up. It's necessary though, as less than 30 repair hammers would never be enough to get through one cave, and having 10+ disease resistance and night eye potions I'll never use on me at all times just makes life better...

Edit--ignor this comment [You need the Master's Hand spell from the Tower Stone. It really helps conserve hammers.] The spell results in needing less hits per item, which is not good when you are trying to build Armorer skill with a given amount of damaged inventory.

On steep cliffs/platforms/etc. I jump down them rather than walk just to injure myself. I find the injury sounds quite funny, wrecks boots something fierce though.

I may be late to the party, but I remember this fondly. One time, I used the duplication glitch to fill a rowboat near Leyawiin with pumpkins. I had fun doing that.
Reality is but an illusion, an artificial construct created by those who take the world much too seriously.

After killing the Uderfrykte Matron I lay out the peices of Svenga's body next to her lover and cover the peices with her clothing. I feel weird if I don't show her that respect.

I've destroyed over a thousand vampires and I collected their dust. I also collect slain necromancer and conjuror robes (400+).

After getting to an insanely high level I always duplicate the handcuffs (forgot actual name) and enchant them with drain stamina and place them in npc's inventory just to put them in a permanent coma. Cruel though ^^

Interesting. Does that work with other types of items, or just the manacles?Shadowscale wrote:After getting to an insanely high level I always duplicate the handcuffs (forgot actual name) and enchant them with drain stamina and place them in npc's inventory just to put them in a permanent coma. Works with any item. The Wrist Irons simply fit a roleplaying style.
I know because I've done this myself. Once the stamina drops below zero and you remove the items, it will take time before the victim regenerates enough stamina to climb out of the negative numbers and actually awaken.
You don't even need to level up. Any item enchanted with a damaging effect is locked at 5 points. Doesn't matter how good at enchanting you are. Then again, it doesn't matter how bad you are, either.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.
