Which lyrics of a song invoke the most emotion in you?
The song can be released or unreleased, a live, studio or demo track.
For me, the following lyrics from the unreleased - (yet performed live over Europe in 1972) - Paul McCartney and Wings song, "1882" , invoke absolute emotion:
Hidden:
...Well, boy steals the bread, now that’s enough, heads for the door
Man sees you coming, said “Boy, you won’t be running no more”
Boy gets arrested and the case it gets tested that day
Judge finds him guilty and the jailer takes him away
Yeah, whoa
Good morning, young master, it’s twenty-five to nine
They’ll be coming to get you, well, in twenty minutes time
You’ll be drawn, you’ll be quartered, you’ll be hung like a ham
But I warn you, get ready, young man
Said the boy, “I am dying and I leave it to you
As I’m leaving, tell me what did I do?
As I’m dying, tell me what did I do?”
Quite plainly, the song is set in 1882, where a son is found guilty and executed for the crime of stealing bread from "the big house upstairs" to feed his dying mother. It really puts into perspective the arrival of the modern idea of childhood and responsibility and punishments of criminal offences.

Good morning, young master, it’s 1882
And your mother is hungry, what will you do?
There is bread in the kitchen of the big house upstairs
But I warn you, don’t take it from them
You’ll be tarred, you’ll be feathered, you’ll be hung like a ham
And I warn you, don’t do it, young man
Your mother is calling, she wants you by the bed
So get ready, young master, well, go shake your sleepy head
“Darling son, I am dying and I leave it to you
As I’m leaving, tell me what did I do?”
“I’m dying, tell me what did I do?”
Well, boy steals the bread, now that’s enough, heads for the door
Man sees you coming, said “Boy, you won’t be running no more”
Boy gets arrested and the case it gets tested that day
Judge finds him guilty and the jailer takes him away

For me? Same answer I gave in the Favorite Song thread: Dire Straits' "Brothers in Arms" -- a hauntingly sad and beautiful commentary and perspective on armed conflict. Lyrics follow, link to the song in the aforementioned thread:
Hidden:
These mist-covered mountains
Are a home now for me
But my home is the lowlands
And always will be
Someday you'll return to
Your valleys and your farms
And you'll no longer burn
To be Brothers in Arms
Through these fields of destruction
Baptisms of fire
I've watched all your suffering
As the battles raged higher
And though they did hurt me so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My Brothers in Arms
There's so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones
Now the sun's gone to hell
And the moon's riding high
Let me bid you farewell
Every man has to die
But it's written in the starlight
And every line on your palm
We are fools to make war
On our Brothers in Arms
CLIFF RACER BODY COUNT: 1059
And I ain't in it for the power
And I ain't in it for my health
I ain't in it for the glory of anything at all
And I sure ain't in it for the wealth

I'm Not a Good Person by Pat the Bunny makes me feel super melancholic. Because it's a song about feeling like a miserable depressed failure which is easy to empathize with I suppose.
Hidden:
I don't know why I am this way.
I've been like this since I can remember.
I try to keep up with everything I know I should do, but then I'll fall to pieces anyway.
I don't know why I am this way.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally? The last thing you never see

Steal a single star, and drop it onto this city already.
Like a movie, let's burn it and start from the beginning.
You aren't one to cry.
Even though no one notices, I can hear it.
The magnificent music and the sound of your dropping tears.
:
So can we be friends, sweetly
Before the mystery ends?
I love you more than the world can contain
In its lonely and ramshackle head
There’s only a shadow of me; in a matter of speaking, I'm dead
:
You have taught my future how to shine
All the colors of
Eternity
You've given my soul the space to breathe
And discover what
It is to simply be

Hmm. There's a song called "Wisdom" by Storyman (previously named the Guggenheim Grotto), and there's a little line that goes like this:
You feel alone, take a look in your backyard
Put your eye to the eye of a telescope
The universe looks back through a microscope
It's so easy to forget the measure of one's self against something as grand as the universe - and everything that ever was and will be and all that jazzy stuff - and get caught up in how big and grand you feel. I like that little line. It's put me in my place a couple of times, to be sure.
Huzzah!

Just remember love is life and hate is living death.
Also Bright Eyes by Art Garfunkel, I have fond memories of watching an animated series version of Watership Down with my brother from when we were young.

Think you've had the last laugh
Bet you think that everything good is gone
Think you left me broken down
Think that I'd come running back
Baby you don't know me, 'cause you're dead wrong
