Then again, alot of people in my generation's first experience to star wars was the prequels, and I dont think anybody is giving those high praises

Doggy says "Rank roo, Roonion!"
Also, I was just looking at Lost In Space episode plots (the 60s version) and came across this one...
The Great Vegetable Rebellion
Smith lands the pod on a planet where plants are the highest form of intelligence next to the writer of this episode. The Robinsons lands only to be captured by Tybo a giant carrot. He plans to turn them into trees while Dr. Smith becomes a stalk of celery.

Guys, I think either Cass is excited about BTS or she is screaming in horror about it.

At least show some excitement about one of your favourite k-pop bands coming to a town near you, Cassandra. Gees, I thought you were supposed to be a fan of theirs.

My mom's watching it; she says it's really good.
How's that album listen-through going?
If I don't breathe, I'll die, and then I wouldn't be able to see BTS. Tsk tsk tsk, stop giving bad advice, Dovah. The SheoDovah wrote:Cass, remember to not breath. Don't inhale or exhale.

As a build up, I watched some of the original Lost in Space episodes the other day. Something tells me the 2018 version will be a bit less...60s ham. Not that I don't like 60s ham. I'm always up for seeing a giant fake looking prehistoric space monster, and people dressed as vegetables. Sure.

Or you discover that you are immortal and are the BTSborn. Actually, do breath. We don't need you to discover a potential purpose that is akin to being Dovahkiin.

I'm always on the hunt for a good sci fi so I may be biased. But I like it because while it does have very high technology it's still basic in the sense that they have lithium ion batteries, liquid methane fuel and they drive around in vehicles that are similar to nowadays cars.Cassandra wrote:My mom's watching it; she says it's really good.
Really? I'm not a fan of 60s corniness, but I did like the original Outer Limits. That being said I think it's more or less divorced from the 60s version. Never did watch the originals.Aarah wrote: I am planning to. It looks really good.

Re: General Discussion
I've not seen The Outer Limits. Sounds like it might be worth a look, though.
I like quite a few 60s shows. The hammiest by far is Batman; that wins the King of Ham award. Others are much less so.
Irwin Allen things are good; stuff like Land of the Giants, and The Time Tunnel.

Ughhhhh can't take it. I'm a big batman fan so this one was a low blow in my book. I know I mentioned it to you once before but there was one episode I liked with the Penguin going around sucking up money in a vacuum cleaner.Aarah wrote:The hammiest by far is Batman; that wins the King of Ham award.
Kinda funny how you say 'ham' and I say 'corny'.
Oh and I saw this the other day and thought of you:
