Your references give away your age. Also I'm pretty sure that movie literally invented the term milf.

In other news you know what's annoying? I'm generally not interested in dating at the moment but there's a gal I've been hanging out with who is super cool so I decided to get her number yesterday. About 3 hours after that I shredded my ankle. I didn't even do anything. I have these stepping stones in my back yard by the garden and I hopped from one to another and then I heard a pop in my ankle. Now it's 4am, I'm in serious pain and I'm walking like Churchill. Thanks a lot Obama.

References - stop giving away my age! Naughty!

The ease of popping your ankle doing nothing gives away your age. :P
On a positive note, an injured man can be more attractive, you know?

Joking aside this is so true. Ya never hurt yourself exercising it's the awkward movement that causes injury.

If she asks I'll tell her I hurt it defending her honor fighting against a thousand warriors and I looked a lot like Russel Crowe in Gladiator while doing it.

^It's good, but I think she might be suspicious of the credibility of that story.
Maybe you injured it running across the road to save a kitten from an approaching car? Dramatic, impressive and believable.

Speaking of animals, how's King doing? Is he big now? Haven't seen any pics since he was a pup.

He sounds pretty big already.
I hope he's okay with you showing him snoring. If he finds out, you might be in the doghouse.

I do like the beach, but in a 'looking out over the sea pensively, while the wind blows and the grey clouds drift moodily overhead' way, and not in a 'sunbathing and swimming' way.
It's also pretty cold at the beach here; don't even think about going in the Winter unless you want to freeze your ass off in two seconds. (Same applies for Autumn and Spring, but increase duration to 30 seconds.)

Pfft, you're from the UK, you don't HAVE beaches. You have stretches of tiny, brittle, broken bits of shells, and are surrounded by a large puddle of defrosted ice.

Beaches are warm, happy places, with surfing and sandcastles and [&@%!] seagulls trying to steal your fish and chips.

See the difference there?

There are some really pretty, soft sand and blue waters beaches in the UK. Granted, they're obviously not on par with many a beach of the world, for sure, but you can definitely get in some warm, happy, surfing, sandcastle times in the Summer.
And as for the thieving seagulls: oh, that's one thing we most definitely have all year round. *Looks at Dovah for agreement*

I feel sorry for pigeons. People keep saying bad things about them but they're pretty cool birds. Seagulls though, yeah, pretty annoying. I mean, I don't wish them harm or anything, but I would prefer if like spiders, they just stay whereever I'm not.

I remember once when I was little, we went to the beach and my mom warned us kids not to let the seagulls take our food. I spent the rest of the day in terror of seagulls whenever I had food; I think I thought they'd attack me for it or something. Fun times.

Aye, laddie, that is true. The Brits ruled 80% of the globe before declining but it is foretold that there is one who will restore Great Britian to it's glory. It is the one they fear. The one they must eliminate. The Seagull lord vowed to wipe out the British and to do so, he started Brexit. But there was one who stood up to the winged menance. "NO." he shouted as he unsheated his sword. "No more of your menance." Armed with his sword, he began a vicious campagin to free Britian of Seagulls. It took decades but the Sheodovah achieved what many did not. The elimination of the 9.8 [&@%!] billion seagulls. For that, he was made into a Saint. Thus concludes the ballard of St. Dovah.
