Well, platinum blonde is just really light/silvery blonde, I'm pretty sure.

And we can't have a funky set with red, black, and purple. It just doesn't work that way.

Some of the Google images platinum blondes are pretty yellow, which I wouldn't class as platinum.

Ya know.. If ya give a goth-boy that kind of hair, maybe make it a bit asymmetric.. Tack on some killer black clothes and eyeliner.. ya ya.. And a bad boy streak with a troubled past and.. I think we just hit twilight-levels of edgyness right now.

This spring is looking mighty edgy (with a dash of stuff)

Now excuse me while go and inspire bad teen-romance novels for the next generation

See, I admire that dedication to find and purchase a selection of 'worn', monochromatic, skull emblazened clothing, then put it all together with a make-up style that all fits to create an individual look.
I'd like to have that kind of certainty and skill.

I quite like it. I think I could probably get away with that look...or a lite version, perhaps.

A bunch of girls in my grade have already started getting prom dresses, and I've hardly thought about what I want mine to be like. I mean, I know I want it to be long, probably with a princess/ballgown type skirt. But apart from that, I'm not sure.

The first one's nice, yeah, but the ruffles really aren't necessary. Like, ah, I'll get a picture sometime when I'm not so lazy.

The second one's really nice. The third one I'd avoid because I don't want something white (also it's short which is a no-go).

I agree, the third to too short. 200% better if long like the 2nd. Even better if that floral pattern continued

I have an analogy (or is it a metaphor) I wanna use but it's sexist as [&@%!] so I wont. In other words: [&@%!] NO

I would never do that look, in reality. It would be fun for a special party or something, but it's really not me. I'm too much of a jeans and jumper person.

Dunno if you read Jack London but I feel like the Sea Wolf right now.

Regarding your preference in women: Hey to each their own. I never ever ever tell a gal how to dress even when she asks. I just want her to be herself and if she dresses all hoochie mama or whatever then we're not meant to be together. Girls will do this, show their ass off or whatnot. I'm not down with that but that's why I don't make suggestions when asked, I wanna see the natural personality come out. You for sure didn't post pics of hoochie mamas but..... wait what the [&@%!] how did I get talking about hoochie mamas?

Are you putting the gothic lolita look in the hoochie mama category? Not sure if you were just using it as an example.
When I googled GL, I just saw a few pics like this:

You know what I think it is, is I see the pics of those gals and I see objectification. I'm not mr feminist but I know what it's like to be a dude and those gals are pushed into a position (not even talking about gals in general, but specifically the models in th epic). 5 years from now they will be cocktail waitresses wearing orange dolphin shorts. After that they attend nursing classes.

All models or just the type in more, for lack of a better word, 'different' outfits?

That would be quite the variety for your resume; model, waitress, nurse.

Ignore like 70% of what I said yesterday. Still dealing with bs and was drinking last night to cope. I have zero opinion on dresses so I just looked at the gals and couldn't help but to think I've met that gal many times and I know her 5-10 year plan. I don't know much about modeling but I know if you're like 25 and trying to be a model then you may as well start applying for AARP.

If you like that style then go for it!
