yeah, this morning I just got to the first 'end' it seems. Man, that... scene had me hysterical(haven't really felt like this in a while). Starting again, but it seems something's missing...
Great game so far, though.
I recently finished Project Zero (or Fatal Frame, if you're North American) and I rather liked it. It's not one of the best survival horror games I've played but it was good, glad I got it. Much like Siren Blood Curse, which I played last October, a lot of the appeal ties around a single mechanic, in Siren it was the 2nd Person camera and here it's the 'Camera Obscura' which is a magic camera that you use to take pictures of ghosts in order to fight them. So mechanically it's just a Resident Evil style game with first person combat but how the camera works is really genius. You need to focus on these creepy ass ghost to build up a charge of power, you can't look away or fire off like a machine and it sets up really well for being spooked by a ghost rushing at you or creeping up on you. The combat itself sets you up to be scared.
I kind of hate calling things like this a gimmick because it's just a strong mechanic that the game uses well.

Been playing some System Shock 2. Pretty awesome. Aged well imo. Really creepy. I was wearing this armor. I needed a strength implant to use it. When my implant died, my armor jumped off me and scared the [&@%!] out of me. That's happened more than once lmao.
She means confirmed users, but ya, pretty much. You won't be able to post non-UESP links till your confirmed, which can either occur automatically(10 posts & a week since activation) or via a Mod(but not this mod, I am after all very terrible at my job)

Btw, playing Destiny 2 at the moment n listening to podcasts while I slowly am devoured by my couch cushions. (I am also incredibly bored)

ME: Andromeda, and enjoying it for the same reason as Bethesda titles: super solid open world exploration gameplay. Too bad the squadmates aren't as compelling as the ones from previous games. No Miranda, Tani (sp), or EDI for example. The story is generic (so far) and the voice acting/writing is cringeworthy in many places, but that's forgivable due to the beauty of the setting and aforementioned exploration. These sorts of games have an inherent difficulty telling rich, personal main stories, in my opinion, though significant character development is still possible for and between individual NPCs and typically in the context of "side quests."

I'm currently about halfway through Danganronpa (the first one, in case anyone here knows the series), and I've also just started Super Mario Odyssey after buying a Switch yesterday! Both are absolutely great so far.
Portal Knights.
I'm several levels into the third world. Enemies are getting trickier (looking at you Fallen Wizard).
Got me gold armour and me little purple octopus pal. Pop, pop, pop. Cute.
Need more green shards for me portals.
Recently finished playing Death of the Outsider and I liked it a lot, Dishonored is a really fantastic series and wondering where they're going to go now.
I'm currently alternating between playing Demon's Souls (because I want to play it before the multiplayer goes down in March) and I think I'm gonna start Catherine soon which I got ages ago for like £4 bundled with other games and I just never played. Alternating between the two is probably a good way to go.

^I get the feel. I keep meaning to play Witcher 2.. But Destiny 2 keeps dragging me back in, it's borderline abuse *Jealously looks at Kiths playing Overwatch* Fun, I remember that...

Haha, sameee. I have all three of the Witcher games now and I still haven't finished the first, or even touched the second two. 'Tis a sad state of affairs.
Oh, I also started Oxenfree (and still haven't picked it up again of course *sigh*); that's a pretty cool game so far.
It's a supernatural thriller adventure game that was free on GOG around christmas. I hadn't heard of it before either, but someone said it was good so I picked it up. I've enjoyed it so far; it's a pretty game, very atmospheric.
Ah yes, just looked it up on google, and I recall seeing it on the Microsoft store for free. Don't know if I pre-downloaded it or not tho, or if I'll ever play it
Speaking of, there are a couple of indie games on PC I seriously wished got ported to all/some of the consoles >__< especially those that A) would be smash hits and B) functionally wouldn't be difficult to port
For the last 15 months I have been playing Neverwinter, good game, it never ends, they keep adding to it, and around Christmas time I p/u'd Darksiders II Deathedition, (both games are free on the PS4) waiting to see how DarksidersIII turns out later this year when its released
