Are they a common pest around your parts?

When I say [&@%!], I mean stuff. I.e I was doing something, and damn raccoon kept distracting me

Also sure sure, they 'can' be cute, when they're not a pest n are actively harmless. Issue being here, mate's gotta go.

And for the record, they can be common around where I live. Given proximity to a small crop of woods, and the lack of coyotes.. Both they and the squirrels/rabbits have been on the rise. (Tho we've had a pair of cats lately hunting the later two down this past year)

How do you plan to shoo off the raccoon (and prevent its return)?

Ammonia does the trick. It also horribly corrodes any reactive metals in the garage, so it's not flawless.

I remember there was a news story last year because there was a wild Raccoon in Ireland and we don't have native raccoons. So foxes are our rural and urban pest. Which like, I'm sorry but foxes are hella cute. I'm sure a fox knocking over your bin or eating your chickens sucks, but that doesn't make them less adorable.

Over here in England, every now and then, there is a report of an escaped zoo animal. It always turns out to be either a pet cat or a stuffed toy. I'm not making this up to be amusing. Just that we do get those reports and that police actually end up pursuing said reports.

Since I've started going to anime cons lately, I've considered getting into cosplay. Hawkeye is one I'd be tempted to try, maybe. Though, I mean, I adore Ed so much.

Winry doesn't quite suite me, though I have a friend that might work well with that cosplay...

@SM? Dreamer? How does one properly shorten this name?: Yeah, my first convention was Fan Expo last year, when I went as Kaylee Frye from Firefly. I'm excited to try out Winry this year. It's a good cosplay 'cause I'm actually the right age and everything. And it's not super hard to make, which is really nice. Work? What's that? Not something I want to do.
