I'm going to reunite Rick & Constance with Bravo team shortly. Have a little debriefing back and forth with everyone before we jump ahead to that evening and Elk Lake Commune Vs. Rick. Still trying to figure out exactly how that's going to work with all the other PCs when it comes to the trial. Obviously you could be called as witnesses but outside of that you'll probably just be sitting together in the audience. Unless I don't know, Luke wants to be Rick's lawyer or something.

GWN: Tis a one liner. I am not fond of it and feel that it is quite bad because i could have done it. That said, on other RPing sites, one liners are usually crap and well, usually doesn't do much. Just feel that my post is bad. As for the trial, i think Rick will be found guilty due to a partially biased jury.

One could say he'd be pardoned by the same token. Because there's this wacky little secret resistance movement sprinkled across Elk Lake, some of whom may wish to speak in his defense.

And I say "pardoned" because it's not a matter of guilty or not guilty. The man he killed, he did so in plain sight, in front of witnesses, after a ceasefire, and he doesn't deny doing so. If it was just guilty or not guilty, this would be an open and shut trial. All rise, be seated. Guilty. All rise, please leave. Punishment to be carried out immediately. -BANG-

The realistic thing would be a firing squad, but Rick-worthy? Quick-draw pistol duel.

I'm pretty sure it can't be worse than how Unionhack's character was executed in World of Darkness.

Ash woke up in a coffin. Her arms and legs were bound together by rope and there was a gag in her mouth. The lid was open and she found herself staring up at Naoise's face, she had just ripped out the stake which had been in Ash's chest. The entire group that headed to the Bulter's estate was in the room with the exception of Mumph and Kris. Also in the room were Anthony Christie, the Prince's Seneschal Aiden and a few vampires she had never seen before. "Let it be known, this is the faith of all those who would practice diablerie in my city." said the Prince. She reached in and took Ash's eyepatch off, looked at it in her hand and smiled. "I'm sure you expect me to complement you here at the end. Call you a worth adversary." The Prince shook her head. "You weren't." The Prince slammed the lid shut and nodded at Mina who activated the controls, sending Ash's coffin down the conveyor belt and into the crematorium's furnace. Ash heard a door slam shut and her coffin began to grow hot.

I want to give Aarah a chance to post, then I'll reunite the two groups.

Brevity is the soul of wit, my dude. Just because a post is short doesn't mean it's bad. Not every input has to have Shakespearean levels of prose.

Really though Kerr, if Ash wouldn't have tipped off Butler and gone about the whole thing differently, would things have played out differently? Honestly I think the deck was stacked against her little plan from the start, and that's what made her character arc interesting to me. Something something Icarus.
