no bounty and everyone in dragosreach atacks me

Post by ciberzombie »

whats going on?? in whiterun everybody acts normaly but in dragosreach everybody attacks me for unknown reason as soon as i approach them. i have checked with guards in whiterun and they only say usual random stuff when i talk to any of them before i go to dragonsreach but when i approach jarl or any inside people they draw their weapons and attack (they cant kill me tho unless i go in on legendary difficulty and stand around till eventually be killed) (you know : all skills 100 + all perks + atronach stone + 900+ armor rating + 1000 health does its thing)
before that i sneaked thru all of whiterun searching where begins that tunnel at side of whiterun , and i gone to everywhere in whiterun, every house and every room acosonaly taking un-owned useful items and un-owned books and cash, but got no bounty since talking with guards only gives usual random chatter but before that i gone to unmarked bandit camp north-west of whiterun ,very close to it and killed bandits there and later one hitted horse with bow from distance there. before that i gone around whiterun closely for search of anything else interesting since i found that tunnel and hunted deer and elk on my way and then hunter attacked me for unknown reasons (probably for hunting his pray) and he got arrow to face.
i gone to save before i killed that horse and scouted/scavenged dragonsreach - same thing happens. now will try save before i scouted/scavenged whiterun and killed that hunter.
that older save is ok, nobody attacks me in dragonsreach, but i wonder what caused them to attack me??

I had something similar on my last playthrough. I went somewhere that apparently I wasn't supposed to go and the guards (in Markarth) just went nuts at me. I mean there was no trespass warning or anything - I was just having a nose around using a key an NPC had given me. Time to hit that Reload button...

Anyway whereabouts is this tunnel?
Only one I know is the one behind Battle-Born Farm which
Spoiler:
goes to the Underforge.

I'm guessing you have walked straight past it several times doing quests in Whiterun and just not noticed it then. :D
Very cool that the game can still have these little things to discover though.

Yes. Calcelmo gave me a key for doing one of his quests so I figured it'd be okay to actually use it. Oh well.

Interesting. I didn't know that.
