About smithing and speech

so... I've been gathering a lot of gold ingots, iron, steel and leather and wondered what's the best way to get profit out of making stuff from them (what to craft etc.)- both for smithing and speech skill level increasing and for getting some gold coins (although I got enough). To make it clear- I got like 100 gold ingots, a lot of iron, and around 600 leather pieces plus some steel.
speech level - 67
smithing level - around 80

Probably jewelry. Especially if you have a lot of gem stones to go with that gold.

If you have the Alteration spell Transmute, but lots of Iron Ore from Smiths to transmute into Gold, then turn that into jewelry.

I think helmets will give you the most return-on-investment when forging metal.

I just made 1000 Iron Daggers but that was a long time ago and it may have been changed with a patch.
