This sounds like a lot of fuss over nothing. If people who haven't played the games get to do so through the switch I'm all for it. The issue for me would be quality control, as quite frankly I have a hard time imagining a good port coming to such a different coding format. Granted there are ways around it but they use different coding languages if I am correct in memory.

The Switch version of Skyrim will include motion controls and amiibo functionality.

These amiibo items are a serious disappointment. Didn't think we'd ever be seeing console-exclusive content for such an old title.

I kind of like the idea of motion controls in Skyrim, even if I look like an utter fool.

Of all the things in the Bethesda E3 display, Skyrim Switch was the least disappointing.

It was still disappointing, just not as much as everything else.

I guess it's good that people who hadn't been able to play it yet will now be able to, but honestly, I imagine the 'never played Skyrim but can afford a switch' demographic is probably pretty small.

Ah, Motion Controls. Just what TES was lacking. Motion controls. :-/ Not really the best game to implement it in and comes off as gimmicky. The exclusive stuff, meh. The Link outfit comes off as a bit of a rextured one and they didn't even use his iconic green one. The master sword, pretty sure that is available as a mod on PC. Yes, i'm being that guy. Good on Nintendo and Bethesda for getting unique items, i suppose but why Amiibo? Just why?

........

We're getting Dragonborn amiibos aren't we? :-/

Why buy a Bethesda game for a system without mod support?

Master Sword
Hylian Shield
Amiibos? We ain’t got no Amiibos! We don’t need no stinking Amiibos!
