Now having just finished Prey I can now dedicate a good chunk of my time to catching up in ESO but I know for a fact that will not be able to catch up before Morrowind is released and I pre ordered it the minute I could.
So my question is geared mostly to the people who are enjoying it early on PC
I know in the other DLC that there are some changes if you played through the previous DLC,for example I have heard the Wrothgar feed into Thieves Guild which in turn feeds into Dark Brotherhood,I am currently doing Craglorn but I don't know if has connections to the other stories since I quite early in the story of Craglorn and I haven't done the other stuff yet at all.
I am asking if Vvardenfell is similar or is it more self contained.I am asking because I have no chance of finishing the previous DLC's before Morrowind comes out and I am wondering if I will being missing out on much just bring my existing character to Vvardenfell then tackling the rest of Craglorn then Wrothgar,Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood after I do Morrowind.
I have a decent idea about what changes I need to make to character being a magicka DK with the changes made in the patches since I last played, and since I prefer to solo as much as possible and focus on Damage Dealing and Survivability and I will will also check Tamriel Foundry for any additional info in that regard.
But I do have two other question that are mostly geared towards PS4 Players since that is my platform of Choice I could play on PC now(I couldn't at release) but I don't feel like starting from scratch so i stick with PS4.Its mostly geared towards PS4 Players because of the server separations to the situation on the other platforms aren't a good gauge for the situation on PS4.
1.What the situation like in Cyrodiil could I go there for Skyshards and the PVE Content and do enjoy the content of the Imperial City DLC without constantly being ganked by pain in the ass PKer's
I know Cyrodiil is a PVP zone but I don't go searching for fights nor engage in most pvp activity because in RP my character isn't really a soldier fighting for the DC their an adventurer who could care less about the War and who wins and is more concerned with the Daedric and other threats. So my PC wouldn't being in the IC on behalf of the DC but to expel the Daedra and stick it to Molag Bal.
2.How easy is to get other players to help out with Group Content like what its still found to now to a lesser degree in Craglorn but also World Bosses and Group and Public Dungeons?
When I first started it could kind of be a pain.Since it mostly boiled down to sitting near the area or head to area an hope someone else was already there do it and then tag along or waiting for someone to show up.
As far my character goes I just got to craft a lighting staff as my secondary maybe respec my skills and CP if some of the choices I made were bad or nerfed and re do my skill and keep researching traits so I can make a good crafted set until I get myself an even better drop set.Though I forgot to ask in my earlier and different post what is the prefer armor breakdown currently for Magicka DK's
Its 5 Light 3 medium or is it Heavy?

Re: Quick Question about Morrowind Expansion
Well, there are characters that return in the DLCs and Vvardenfell, but it's not like the stories build upon another. Also, with the new tutorial, Morrowind is also designed to be the first zone for a player, and you can come there any time.
I am a magicka DK myself, and I can handle myself just fine, even with the new changes (except for explicit group content, I still need a group there xD)
Since I'm playing on PC, I know nothing about the situation on the PS4, but maybe your should mention if you're on PS4NA or PS4EU...

Re: Quick Question about Morrowind Expansion
If you want to build on the background for Morrowind, you should do Orsinium, Dark Brotherhood, Shadows of the Hist, and The Missing Prophecy. But like Sarthes said, it's meant to be an introductory zone so you won't be missing out on too much.
If you go to the Imperial City, prepare to get ganked. It's basically what that space was designed for. Cyrodiil has PvE content as well but it's pretty grindy and you even get ganked speaking to NPCs. Four of the Cyrodiil skyshards are gate-locked and require your alliance to be dominating the map in order to acquire, so be prepared to wait on that one.
Picking up a random group for bosses or public dungeons is as spotty as ever (on PC-EU at least). Maybe even worse now that the 4-player content is actually designed to require >2 players.

Re: Quick Question about Morrowind Expansion
Its good to know that Magicka DK's are completely borked by the nerfs and are still quite capable with minimal tweaking. My Attributes and skill selections are fine.I just had to tweak a few morphs and wait for when Morrowind comes out to re do some of my CP's since changes have made some of builds choice less useful.
Here is the build I am following for the most part.
http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/noss-im ... -tg-ready/
I was previously following this
http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/pve-2-3 ... agicka-dk/
I am pretty close to following this setup I just need to reconfigure my CP a little bit but I can't do that yet because Master at Arms isn't available on PS4 until Morrowind comes out.
As far as servers are concerned I am on PS4 EU despite being from the US,I am on EU since I got the game at release and that was the only server I could log on to since the NA was max capacity and I really didn't feel like starting from square one.
Though I if I did make a new PC on Computer I probably go with either A Magicka Sorcerer Dunmer or Altmer or Warden don't know what race is best for that one or which attribute to favor I am guessing Magicka. It's sad that they really nerfed Bretons hard and never balanced it out again since that what I prefer to play as.
So I can expect some Ganking Cyrodiil, its what I expected but I hopes it not to bad since I am not really a PVP person I came to this game as an ES fan not a Diehard MMO/Competitive MLG Type.I hope its not to bad because I know that PVP in a lot of games tends to attract a lot of insufferable [censored] types that can't just let people have fun.I know that's Cyrodiil and the IC DLC is meant for but I am doing Skyshards,Quests and Delves,if I see a AD or EP player I have non intention of going after them or trying to kill them, they leave me alone,I'll leave them alone, not to mention my character isn't geared towards PVP so I would preferred not to be ganked constantly by some person who spends all their time in Cyrodiil and its geared towards that sole purpose and then only to get ganked again after I respawn. That is such a [censored] move plus nothing kills the enjoyability of a game faster than that.
I gotta to continue researching traits so I can start making crafted sets in Julianos and Torugs while I grind for dropped sets.Especially the Divines traits for Armor and Sharpened and Precise for Weapons.I don't have any Nirnhoned researched but I remember that got nerfed after Dark Brotherhood.
Is Julianos and Torug still the best crafted sets for Magicka DK's at this point or has been beaten by another set. Also what are best dropped sets and where do I have to grind for them? From what I have just read for crafted I can also keep an eye out for Silk of the Sun and Grothdarr.
I know I have to do Malestrom Arena at some point because those Destro Staves are still pretty good. but I waiting to up my other equipment first so I on the best footing to win those beauties.
So since some of the reccomended equipment is drops from group dungeons is the success rate of the groupfinder still that bad?

Re: Quick Question about Morrowind Expansion
Try doing it on an empty campaign at off-peak hours.Maxrebo wrote:So I can expect some Ganking Cyrodiil, its what I expected but I hopes it not to bad since I am not really a PVP person I came to this game as an ES fan not a Diehard MMO/Competitive MLG Type.I hope its not to bad because I know that PVP in a lot of games tends to attract a lot of insufferable [censored] types that can't just let people have fun.I know that's Cyrodiil and the IC DLC is meant for but I am doing Skyshards,Quests and Delves,if I see a AD or EP player I have non intention of going after them or trying to kill them, they leave me alone,I'll leave them alone
Good luck with that. I wouldn't plan on getting Maelstrom weapons, since it involves grinding some of the hardest content in the game.Maxrebo wrote: I know I have to do Malestrom Arena at some point because those Destro Staves are still pretty good. but I waiting to up my other equipment first so I on the best footing to win those beauties.

Re: Quick Question about Morrowind Expansion
I will try for the Maelstrom weapons but I not gonna bet on it,though I will strive for Burning Spell Weave and Moondancer.
The off peak hours shouldn't be too hard since I am on the East Coast of North America so my peak hours is gonna bedtime for most on the EU server.
Update:After seeing how many mats it would take to make even just 1 item of a CP160 Crafted Set should I just craft Base Gear so my character matches the recommend armor split for a Magicka DK because as it stands right now crafted sets aren't option on a materials basis and for Julianos its also not having enough traits researched.Since I forgot to keep researching traits when I started the game or the traits I did research it was for items types I don't use anymore. For example I've been researching Medium and Light Armor Traits and Fire Staff Traits like crazy since switching from the Sword and Board Type because before I was mostly researching Sword,Shield and Heavy Armor Traits and sometime even forgetting to do that. The result of this being that I haven't crafted on of the special sets yet and I am still running around Full Heavy Armor. So doing Veteran Group Dungeons or Trails to get the best monster drops isn't really option right now.I can't just buy the right stuff from guild stores because they are extortionately expensive, how and in what universe will I have that much gold.
So I see that I have 3 options
1.Start all over again on PC as either a MagSorc or Warden(Least Preferred Option)
2.Grind for the Silk of the Sun Set in Delves in Stonefalls and use that in Veteran Group Dungeons and Trails so I can get good monster sets.(questing in Craglorn while I wait for the group finder to find groups)Follow the staff plan in option 3 until good drops can be found or bought from guild store(buying unlikely)
3.Craft Base Set versions using the 5 light 1 heavy 1 medium set or at least in what I have the divines trait researched in,while searching for items with that trait in the pieces I don't have it researched in so I can research it.Find and research a sharpen lightning staff.Craft a sharpened base set cp 160 Inferno and Lightning Staff, equip best available jewelry.Than proceed to keep questing in Craglorn while trying to required group dungeons and trails for needed monster sets. For Staves I could also just make to CP 150 Torugs Pact Staves because the CP 160 crafted stuff require an insane amount of resources.I wanna be able to enjoy the game not spend 3 months researching traits and grinding materials that also almost as bad a starting from scratch.
I am not trying to really Min/Max since I not looking crush it in PVP since I mostly do PVE my goal is good survivability and damage so I can solo as much as I can but still help out and be good in Group PVE Content.
What's my best option,please help.
Quick Question I was doing the Normal Blackheart Haven earlier and is is really common when doing group dungeons for everyone to just charge ahead and not let you experience the quest and dungeons story nor properly complete the dungeons quests since you missed quest stages.

Re: Quick Question about Morrowind Expansion
Are you a member of the UESP Guild on PS4-EU? Contact details are here: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/UESPWiki:ESO_Guild
Note that I have no idea how active they are.
Yes, it's very common for groups formed through the Group Finder (LFG tool) to just charge ahead, since most of those people are doing the quest for the fiftieth time. If it's your first time and you want to experience the story, tell people and they may be willing to slow down. Or go with a group formed through Guild chat rather than an LFG group. Note that Craglorn quests are long, and it might be really inconvenient if you're in a Craglorn delve when the Group Finder queue pops.
I've answered your armor problem in your other thread. Note that PvP and PvE builds are often very different (PvP generally require either investment in the Champion Point which reduces Critical Damage, or Impenetrable trait on 4/7 pieces of armour) so if you were to PvP, you'd either want to respec your Champion Points or put on a different set of armour.
Getting gold in ESO is best done by joining several trading guilds and selling off everything you don't need to other players. Unfortunately, PS4 lacks addons, so you haven't got an easy way of seeing what an appropriate price for items is. Still, if you join reputable guilds, the officers and other members will be able to help you with pricing at first. Gather every alchemy ingredient you see and sell them to other players in batches of 25-200, you can make thousands every day just from that. You can also sell trait items for research - I make a couple of thousand a day just from selling level 1 Divines trait Medium & Heavy Armor and level 1 Sharpened trait weapons.
