Sanguine rose problem

Hi All,
I'm playing vanilla Oblivion on PC (no KOTN or SI), and my Sanguine Rose staff doesn't work or possibly stopped working after one summons. I've hit everything imaginable to test it, but nothing appears after the hit. Can I replace my broken one with a functioning one with the console?

You're not the only one with this problem, but nobody has come up with a solution so far. I would try summoning something else, killing it or waiting for it to disappear, then try using the Rose again. Otherwise, try giving yourself another one.
