Mira

Oh, so I should do what that [&@%!], Anders did? Prove to everyone that the Chantry's lies about all mages being dangerous to be true? No. Begone. I will get the Cleric to listen and if not, well, a second annullment in the space of a few years may spark a rebellion.
Mira noticed the Templar initaite and slowly approached him. "I need to see the Grand Cleric." She informed him. "It is vital that I do so and time is limited." She told the guard and knew that she had little time to waste.

"I will do my duty and escort the mages to the Tower, but I will not allow you or any other to lay a hand on any of them without the Grand Cleric's consent." August replied. He did not sheathed his weapons, the feeling of the familiar steel reassuring his turbulent heart.

Starkhaven Chantry

The young templar raised a brow. "What for, mage? Why are you here and not at the rally.... or at the circle, for that matter?" he asked. Suspicion and the tension in the air had the young man on edge.

Starkhaven Market Square

The mages had finally been corralled and were beginning to be lead towards the Circle tower. Most of the mages begrudingly accepted their fate and went along with the forceful march; others tried to lash out and were subdued; mostly with sharp pommel strikes to the head.

Mira Mage of the Circle - Chantry

Mira knew that this Templar could prevent her from seeing the Grand Cleric and as much as she would love for the Circles to have more reasons to consider rebelling against the tyrants, she did not want a repeat of Kirkwall to occur. "I have been sent by the First Enchanter to speak to the Grand Cleric. This is a matter of the upmost importanance and will determine what occurs to both the Order and Circle across Thedas. It is best she gets the chance to hear from both the Order and the Circle of Magi to determine the future." She informed him and felt a bit full of herself. One templar could cause me to lose my home. One tyrant could decide to end the circle. Could overpower him easily but would be spelling my death and provide people with another reason to hate us. And I should take into account the last time a mage entered a chantry, it blew up. [&@%!] Anders. Maker, let me through.
