Guys, we need a moment of silence for today, we lost a worthy piece of beard. I shaved my beard today. *Hangs head in respect* Beardy Mcbeardson, son of Beard Beard, cousin of Beardon Beardett, your watch has ended.

Did you just shave off one piece? Is that the new look down South - a beard with one piece missing? Sounds different but maybe it will catch on. :P

That's pretty funny because just today I decided to try growing a mustache. I've tried in the past but never had hair thick enough, but I think my hair is finally dark and thick enough to make a decent soup strainer (about darn time too). I want to try growing an actual beard beard, or maybe a goatee, but due to my work I'm only allowed to have a mustache.

Every now and then I get powerful cravings for [&@%!] foods. This goes back to the fact that I'm an addict. It's been a few days now and I get the thoughts for junk food floating in my head. Folks who go through bad addiction issues recognize the 'addiction' thought pattern right away. Essentially it comes down to pay off followed by some form of regret.

That being said I want some pizza now goddamnit. Or maybe try that new chicken taco from taco bell, or anything on the krystals menu.

Leroy, resist the abomination taco.. Resist the American cuisine.. Resist the addiction that is an affliction..

Eat the pizza (Yes eat it) Eat it. Buy two (And share?)

I'm not very good at this am I? :wat:

Not as good as you'd want it to be, but not as bad as you fear it is. The chicken shell is surprisingly good at it's job, without being too crispy or stale tasting. It's not fantastic by any stretch, but it's not something that I want to run out and eat all the time. It's a novelty, and worth a try if you're already there, but certainly not worth a special trip to the Bell.

We don't have taco bell over here, which is kinda surprising considering we have most of the major fast food players. Mcdonalds,KFC,Burger King, Subway have places over here.

A week ago, I had a craving for doughnuts. Didn't act on it due to me really saving cash where possible.

I think summer was the last time I had any donuts. They appeal more to me in theory than in practice, considering whenever I get them I'm never really satisfied. It doesn't matter where I get them either, they just aren't my thing, as much as I'd like them to be.

I love donuts; they're especially good for breakfast. Tim Horton's double chocolate donut first thing in the morning? Yes please! (yeah, my food choices are iffy) The best donut I've ever had, though, was probably an Earl Grey donut from this little one-off donut shot I visited while on vacation. It was absolutely delicious.

I've not had a doughnut for years. I like them though - moreso the ones with jam in, I like that bit of fruity.
There's a guy at my work that every so often will eat up to eight, yes, eight doughnuts in one sitting. He's slim too, so I don't know where he puts it, nor how he's not sick after the first few.

Just thought I'd do my monthly check in and say that at long last, I started the Elder Scrolls Online. I created my character, got my reward for participating in the closed beta, and set off on my merry way.

Incredibly impressed with the game. So many nostalgic sights and sounds, and a slew of pleasant design decisions along the way. As with every ES game, I rolled a Nord, and so I started questing in Morrowind. Nice dose of the good ol' days. Now I'm in the gold coast, incredibly beautiful, running around with assassins.

The game genuinely feels like a fleshed out Elder Scrolls game. Very impressed thus far. If you see me roaming about, Linkuya, on PC (NA), feel free to say hello.

It is finally a good ES game, it took them a while to get there, but they dropped the bad weight over the years.

Aye. My biggest complement is that it doesn't feel like MMO. It doesn't feel generic, grindy, or has an relies too heavily on run of the mill 'bring me five bear arses' quests. The full voice acting goes a long way, too.

It's tempting to drop off the face of the forums for like 6 months, then show up intermittently for a little bit all as an excuse to post this in the Welcomes & Goodbyes thread.

But that would require me to not come here for quite some time which I don't want to do. Anyway, John Wick: Chapter 2 is really good.

No offence but your country and everything it stands for is a desecration to all that is good.

Kinda reminds me the first time I traveled abroad I landed in London and the first thing I saw was TGI Fridays. Was hoping for something stereotypically english like a cup o' tea stand or something. Was annoying. This was also during the whole SARS thing, I got a fun pic of a warning sign bout that at an airport.

oh lol the avatar. I decided to end my streak of semi-ironic avatars (I think I went from Kim Il Sung to Mitt Romney to Holo with a MAGA hat) with something a bit more politically tasteful (considering myself to be fairly liberal).

And I'm pretty good. It's been a slow Sunday so I decided to check on these forums . How've you been?

Quite good. Past few years have been somewhat trying, but most of us came out all the better, I like to think. I'm in my next-to-last semester of college (university, depending on where you're from) and I've jury duty this Friday, as well as two exams. Busy week.

I am about two terms before the end of my college run, and I've been done with this [&@%!] since last year. I am much happier when I am working in software and would prefer to just fast forward to me working in the field. I recently accepted an offer with Google for a summer internship (jumping ship from my 2+ year run with Amazon come June), so I am just waiting for this school year to end.

What are sort of program are you in?
