WinRar Problem
Hello! I'm using a free trial version of WINRAR and atm I'm trying to open .RAR files and .7Z but when ever I extract morrowind and oblivion files with them an error popsup in the corner and says something like 365 errors, path not specified? this has happened for every single mod I've used so I'm not sure whats wrong with it, I forgot to mention, that this only happens with TES mods everything else is fine
Try this. It works pretty well for me. Once you install it you can just right click the files and choose how you want them to be extracted; I usually just choose "Extract here." I'm pretty sure it works on RAR and ZIP files as well.

Re:
Try running 7-zip as an administrator. If you right click on the icon, go to Properties, then Compatibility, there should be a check box "Run program as an administrator".Warlock wrote:erm it keeps saying I need permision seeing as I'm the only excisting admin on my laptop I don't see y I need it, its not letting me extract

Re: WinRar Problem
Are you on Vista? The 'Program Files' section is heavily guarded... so you may wan't to reinstall oblivion in something like... c:/Oblivion/... instead of c:/Program Files/Oblivion...
If you aren't on Vista, I haven't a clue.

I have that same problem and it's easy to get around, it just requires an extra step. Instead of unzipping them directly into the folder, unzip them into an extra folder on your desktop or whatever. From there just click and drag them over to move them, you'll get a pop-up asking for permission (unfortunately every time you do it), just click yes and you're good to go. I figured that out modding Morrowind.
