TA2: Need to? No. Mainly waiting on a brief DM post if nothing more. Tho between Nammu's actions, the magical gem, and most recently SIS's outburst, both Khazi and Darkscale have plenty to post about

TA2: Then the Darkscale of Darkness known as Ubba,Bob, Aerith, the Argonian who goes NI! shall not post until a DM post. And not because I lost track of where Darkscale is and was trying to check for interaction or not.

BL: I'm a little bit out of the loop and out of practice, so bear with me.
Also, I still haven't actually written the recruitment even though I have a months old prompt from Velvet for it...has anyone else done it?

IIRC, I didn't write a recruitment story, I just wrote a couple of sentences to Velvet about the details.MARS wrote:BL: I'm a little bit out of the loop and out of practice, so bear with me.

GWN: I can't remember: Do the guards have radios or communication devices?
BL: Arya's recruitment would actually be intriguing, as she certainly doesn't come across upon first impressions as a suitable candidate for dangerous BL work.

BL: She does not, nor does she have the spirit for it <_< between her loose involvement with Vila's dealings, and her own prestige heritage.. Surely any agent would see a promising prospect. Unfortunately, she was not as they had hoped..

Fallout: I never specified, sorry, I should have. Yes they do, it's a radio connected speaker on their chest like you might see some security guards have.
This is what their uniform looks like if you want a visual reference. The black square with the red button is the radio.

Dragon Age: If the conflict from here is going to be pick a side in a mage rebellion we're almost instantly going to split into 3 groups.
I finally started playing Pillars of Eternity and one of my companions is a Ranger with a fox and he's hella cute too.

So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
So far it looks like Laurius, Arya, Elona, Baelfire and Shulbash for the prison break, and Sorondil, Philip and Vila for the intel.BetaB17 wrote:BL: Any bets on who's going on Intel and who's going on the prison break?
I'd guess at intelligence for Remus also, seeing as he's a scout.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
BL: If you think Arya is going along to the prison break, with certain danger and the company of Shulbash(which confirms said danger) then you are either stark mad or well misinformed

BL: Misinformed. I thought I remembered your first post writing in favour of going to the prison, but looking back I see she has only been querying the plan.
So Arya for intelligence then.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
BL: In theory, Shulbash should have a ton of knowledge about Cheydinhall, who the big names are, sources to exploit etc.. In reality: Dovah has to check the layout of the city and eventually cause a Fission Mail.
But yeah, Shulbash is local and may be the best person to lead from getting into the city to the castle. There may be a few murders involved and a guard being broken. Not that I secretly harbour an intent to break someone's back in the RP.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
BL: Um, why exactly would Shulbash know so much about the city, more than the actual residents or people whom spent a lifetime within those walls? More than the Legion to whom should know their enemy best?

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
BL: Ya, but how?
Because he certainly doesn't have the same experience or depth as the actual locals? And no quick guide or directions can compare to familiarity. And I'm sorry, but a few weeks stuck in an oppressed city cant compare
And I can also go ahead and say he doesn't have the same info privy to the Legion or Dominion officials, aside from rumor and word of mouth.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
BL:
Edit: @TLD: How long has Shulbash been in Cheydinhal? It can't be much more than a year but it's not been made clear in his sheet either. Otherwise I don't see him as having much of an argument for specialist knowledge of the city's layout. If he cares so much about undermining the Thalmor then surely he'd realise there are far more efficient way than learning the layout of a city just in case something turns up to his advantage.
I'm not going to tell why (if you guess, I'll tell you if you're correct) but there is an actual basis to why the character's are being allowed to sort themselves out. Because you are correct, the NPCs are more-than-aware of your character's specialties, so it would seem, at first instance, sub-optimal to let the players attempt to sort themselves out into different groups, whilst ignorant of what the other characters are capable of.MARS wrote:If they'd all been scouted by this Legion, surely their specialties were known to them [...] It felt all too much like a test setting them up for mistakes, and someone else's mistake could easily put her in danger as well.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
BL: I'm pretty sure the Dominion/occupation forces aren't going to let an orc prod around their defenses and either A) not find it suspicious and B) not kill him. And don't even bother trying to explain THAT
Cause A)The Thalmor certainly are willing to kill any citizen they find prodding around the walls or breaking the 'rules' and B)He isn't sneaky enough to get away with it
So again, he knows less than the average local rebel or Legion spy <_< Maybe more than just some concerned citizen, but that aint saying much.. Hell, Vila probably knows more about the Dominion occupation than Shulbash does >_> Of Cheydinhal itself? Well that's a done given

TA2: Sorry for my tardiness, it's been crazy at work. So, what's the deal with this altar? Is that field which makes it harder to move closer still active, now that Nammu has grabbed the gem? I don't want stress SIS if I can avoid it. Don't want one of those ridiculously huge blood magic sutures to pop open again.

TA2: Nammu has yet to even touch the gem. However I presume, due to it's magically dense aura, you would need high willpower to even approach it, let alone touch it>_> I'm also going to presume touching it may prove detrimental to one's health, maybe.. We still have no clue what it even does
In short, yes, it's still active

TA 2: By the way, does SIS need to get himself checked for Skyrim herpes? Like, do I need to worry about him suddenly getting urges for ultra-rare steak, or perhaps biting his tongue more than usual?
Where would you put SIS' willpower?

Or do you mean to say Nammu's practices are more than peculiar? (Which they are)
I mean, you do in fact have one of the best healers in all of Tamriel (75% off, no refunds)
