I've been thinking who will they chose to be the title for the hero of Elder Scrolls VI.I am guessing its gonna be some kind of culture hero for the province they choose for the setting.Since only Daggerfall,Oblvion(Could be a Shezzarine?)and Arena was the main character not a culture hero.
Here are my ideas by province
Hammerfell:Reincarnation of Cyrus,Avatar of Hoonding or First Sword Singer in Centuries
Valenwood:Silvenar/Greenlady or something else connected to the Green and Yffre
Elsweyr/Anequina and Peletine:Mane or Lunar Champion
Black Marsh:Some Special Connection to Hist
Cyrodiil:Not returning to
Morroiwnd Not returning to
Skyrim:Not returning to
High Rock\Orsinium:No Clue do they have any culture Heroes
Summersett Isles:Psjiic Order or some connection to an old king or Auri-El
I also wonder what will be the fate of the Dragonborn here are the fates of past protagonists
Arena:No Clue maybe joined Blade under assumed identity or became public figure,(Caius,Jauffre,or Ocato)
Daggerfall:Squished by Numidium or at very least displaced in time and space by immense metaphysical forces
Battlespire:No Clue
Morrowind:Voyage to Akavir
Oblivion:Became Sheogorath
Skyrim:Theories Dragged to Apocrypha to serve Hermaeus Mora or maybe High King of Skyrim or even Emperor return of Dragonborn Emperors, rebuilt Blades or joined Greybeards and Parthunax.
I hope we find out something because I was kind of dissapointed the we heard nothing about the Courier or especially the fate of the Lone Wanderer in Fallout 4.
Who do you think the protagonist of the ES VI will be?

Re: Who do you think the protagonist of the ES VI will be?
Personally I'm a little sick of my protagonist's course being determined by destiny. It seems like a really cheap way to write a protagonist for a video game series, especially since all it accomplishes is guilting you into completing the storyline even if it's totally out of character for the protagonist you had built for yourself to play. I sincerely hope that come TES VI we're playing some lone grunt, or a commoner who just stumbled into a bad situation and needs to get out alive. You know, do something that would make scholars' heads explode rather than yawn and wave it away with "oh yeah, I read about that in the Elder Scrolls last year. Took you long enough." Or hell at least give it some uncertainty so that you might not be the hero of legend rather than straight-up confirming that we're a giant of mythology within the first five minutes of the game.
Another interesting twist would be if the legends turn out to be simply wrong. This kind of happened in Morrowind: Consider that the Dunmer were expecting the Nerevarine to be of their own stock, but even if you choose to play as a Dunmer yourself you're still an outlander. No one was expecting the Nerevarine to be an outlander... if they were, they would be a bit more hesitant to enslave outlanders. I want to see something like that in a modern fantasy game: Have the big epic hero of legend turn out to be the big bad, and you're just some shmuck who figured it out before anyone else did and stopped them in the process. This has been done before (I'm almost certain this happened in a Final Fantasy game) but considering how much The Elder Scrolls uses ancient prophecy like a crutch it would certainly blow peoples' minds to see it happen in that setting.
Orsinium almost certainly has culture heroes. Consider their history throughout the games and the fact that they're a race that prides itself on its prowess in combat, and compare to real-world entities with similar traits. All warlike tribes have cultural heroes because they need them to inspire their men to do battle. Modern cultures still do this; America has the ballad of Davy Crockett, David Bowie, George Washington and the Founding Fathers... and we still laud people for their bravery because it inspires other people to be brave as well. Honestly an Elder Scrolls game exploring the history and mythology of the orcs would kick ass, because they're such an anomaly in the series, starting off first as monsters and then as a warlike tribe and now being portrayed as a culture all of its own with a complex history and culture. Hell maybe we can play a game in which Orsinium wins some more land to call home during a war with the Thalmor. A game that took place in the past would almost certainly never happen because the protagonist would pretty much have to be Orismer (or at least closely related?) but damn, I'd play it.

Re: Who do you think the protagonist of the ES VI will be?
I could totally see the Orcs finally getting Orsinium recognized and made a province after doing something that makes them a major part of a war against the Thalmor.Specially since a strong empire tends to work a lot better for them. I imagine a Thalmor victory wouldn't work out well for the Orcs,if you think Humans cruel to them I imagine a bunch of racial purity obsessed Altmer Supremcists aren't gonna take to kindly to them. Also the constant sacks of Orsinium by High Rock and Hammerfell just seems like bad move on their part.Would it be better strategically to be on good terms with them.Since if anyone where to try to attack those lands by going Orcish Territory they would be forced to contend with the Orcs.

Re: Who do you think the protagonist of the ES VI will be?
Shapeshifter.
Imagine waking up in suspended animation above a pool of magical energy. Your body is somehow fluctuating between the forms of man, elf, and beast. There's a mage nearby, studying this strange phenomenon. He notices you awaken, and immediately prods you for answers to his boundless questions. Do you remember anything? Your name? Where you came from? How you became like this? What were you originally?
He asks you to focus, to try to gain control of your shapeshifting. He tells you to try to remember your true form (insert character creation here). You manage to make your body recall its birth-given shape, and retain it. The mage is astonished. He begins to ramble. As he prattles on, a flash of magic bursts into the room. A small number of shadowy figures appear. They incapacitate the mage, then turn their attention toward you. One of them addresses you, and thanks you for finding what they've been searching for. They put their hands forth and drain you of your power. You watch hopelessly as each of them assumes a new form, then vanishes.
Another mage enters the room and helps the first one come to their senses. They ask you what happened. After some discussion, they free you from your suspension, and conclude that you must find a way to reclaim what was once yours, and find answers to what just transpired.
...I don't really have an answer as to where this is taking place or who these people are.

I would totally play that game. It combines modern fantasy story structure with the "collect new powers" mechanic that were prevalent during the time that I was growing up.
