Persuasion tricks:
1. Apologizing for something you had no connection with makes you sound more reliable and trustworthy. Next time, whenever you want to borrow someone's mobile phone in a rain; just say "I'm sorry about the rain".
2. Start with some small request before heading out to the bid one. Next time when you want a person to give you 100 dollars, first ask a dollar a few days prior.
3. The power of higher medium. Instead of selling a small pack of 10 dollars and a large pack of 40 dollars, simply add on menu a medium pack of 35 dollars. This will make others buy the more costly one.
4. Want someone to be attracted to you; simply say, "I shouldn't be telling you this..... but.......... oh no! Forget it".

Time to brush the dust off this and i think, it's been less then 6 months thus ok for me to do so.
If you have a cold, use hot chocolate. It can be super effective! It may be a mind thing but I found it to be useful when i had a chest infection last year and it tends to work just as well with colds. I also tend to go for the madking approach when dealing with colds and i find burning it out of my body works.

Re: Good Advice Not Asked For - Now With 100% more Asked For
I'm gonna tell you guys how to hand money to someone. I know this sounds bizarre, but if you've ever handed someone money only for the coins to slip right out of their hand and onto the floor, or God help you into the drive-thru at a fast food place, I'm going to fix that right now.
Hand them coins first. Hold the coins in your fingers, not your palm, so that they don't scatter everywhere, and place them directly in their palm. This will ensure that the coins end up in their hand, where there will be more traction than if the coins go on top. Hand them bills second. They will close their hand over the bills, trapping the coins in their palm; this will eliminate the need for them to use two hands, so that they can count it faster: Bills first by transferring from one hand to the other, and then coins. If you are handing someone a receipt, it is good practice to hand it to them at the same time as the bills, with the bills on top where they are clearly visible. I've had customers accuse me of not giving them their cash because the bills were hidden under the receipt, so watch out for that.
If you hand someone a balled-up wad of bills that you crammed into your pocket, you are making their life more difficult than it needs to be. Keep your bills neat and flat, and put them in order from highest to lowest denomination for easy counting. It doesn't really matter if the big bills are on top or on bottom, so long as they're in proper order.
Trust me, I have eight years of experience working cash registers

Do not be afraid to experiment with food. Some combinations may seem odd but the taste is lovely. Also, never mix Cheese, pickle, ham and mustard together. I did once. Twas awful.
Honey in Tea and Coffee is lovely jubbly.
If you can never decide what to have, have pizza.
If you are jobless, I would recommend using planning of meals as a good thing to occupy yourself. It turned me into a full on foodie and varying the weekly diet has done wonders for me. Seriously, if you are feeling a bit down, vary your weekly diet. You may be a secret foodie. Foodies4life. It is surprisingly refreshing prepping meals and not relying on rubbish.

If you want to be chivalrous (never steal or lie and be respected by all), start pretending to be a noble; a king or a knight. Remind yourself of the code and you will not easily mistake.

Fairly well known fact, but if you don't have vinegar then get some. It's great for a variety of things, especially for cleaning.

Got in a a huge argument with somebody and just want it to stop? Bring up a voice modular from your phone and yell "Autobots! Roll Out!" Before stomping out rambling random catchphrases. Works everytime

Pay attention to where your foot is. I accidentally knocked over a bowl of cereal from this morning. Splashed a few games and one book is likely to be stained. >.<

Even better advice: don't put your bowl of cereal on the floor. That way you can remain 100% unaware of the location of your foot without risk.
