PAX West!
Hey! It is that time of year again! I'll be going to PAX West, and hopefully score some time to ask a few questions of developers and other people. I know I'm cutting it a little close (PAX starts tomorrow), but I'll be going Saturday and Monday as well. I was hoping to crowdsource some questions to ask them, along with questions of my own. Does anyone have any questions they would like answered, specifically about ESO?
Just some guidelines, these should be questions about ESO, and generally shouldn't be specific questions about specific quests or anything of that nature. Also, in the past questions involving unannounced DLC won't get answered aside from general timelines. This means no questions about when we'll see Akavir, or if the Psijics will be appearing in game at all.
There are also going to be posts for Legends and a general post for the entire series, so please post questions on those topics there. Thanks in advance!

Re: PAX West!
Hey, are you still there with the devs? I thought of another question
Cadwell's Silver and Gold are a great way of measuring your progress through the other alliances. Now that One Tamriel has you travelling anywhere at any level, would you consider adding a "Cadwell's Bronze" checklist that gets marked off as you progress through your primary alliance's story?
Thanks!

They aren't considering it, but the existing checklists will remain

Re: PAX West!
Indeed. It's a bit odd that you get a checklist for other alliances but not your own. It would help people who are new to the game follow the story, and it would help people who are only interested in the primary quests to get it done quickly. Ah well, I guess that's one thread to reopen on the official forums then.legoless wrote:Ah, that's a shame.

I mean, they are really hesitant to answer anything that's not about the One Tamriel update.

Re: PAX West!
This is kinda One Tamriel related (it's something I've already submitted feedback on):
When you accept Cadwell's quests you are still ported to the new alliance's Tier 1 city, rather than their Starter Island. Now that the Tutorial once again drops you on the Starter Island, Cadwell's quests need to as well, so that players who are following through in story order are able to start the Alliance Story from the beginning. This is more important with One Tamriel than it was when the Starter Islands were first re-added as the drop point in the last update, since the original starter quest givers (Mihayya in Daggerfall, Riurik in Davon's Watch, and Captain Tremouille in Vulkhel Guard) have now been removed. Are they aware of this discrepancy?
Similarly, with the removal of Mihayya, Riurik, and Captain Tremouille, there's no way for someone using the new One Tamriel Navigator NPCs to directly access the start of the storyline, since the Navigator takes them to the Tier 1 city and not the Starter Island.

Unfortunately they closed up shop an hour ago. But I definitely think Gina or Jess could get that answered for you if you emailed them.

That'd be great! MissKokane does a weekly lotto so just send any codes my way and we'll be more than happy to raffle them off.Jeancey wrote:Of course!
