It's sad to see things come to this
I'm sorry for how you feel Union, truly.

Anyhoo, as you guys have probably noticed, your punny ghost of the forums has returned. Had some rather gastly things happen the last while, but I'm back. After so much time away, you may have started wondering "boo, who?" I'm back, and ready to make some phantastic jokes. That last one was admittedly forced, supposed to be alluding to phantasm...

Oh, huh? Oh yeah, by the way, I'm back. Had a major realisation about life overwhelming me. Nothing major, just me realising that I needed to sort some of my personal issues out. But i'm back. The new and improve, hopefully helpful and more likable Dovah. DLC sold seperately.

I'm back (a little early, long story) from the Appalachian woods, as well as New York City and Washington DC. It was quite an adventure, but I'm glad to be back.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Many, yeah. One that comes to mind is me being at a wilderness shelter in the Vermont woods, hanging out there to wait out a coming storm. This guy and his wife showed up (also hikers), whose names were Muffin Man and Shepherdess, respectively. Muffin Man was basically Daniel Boone reincarnated, and built this massive bonfire in a matter of minutes while smoking a metric [&@%!] of Cuban cigars. Soon after he built the fire, we could hear the squawks of turkeys in the woods, and he went to his backpack, and carefully pulled out two giant kukri knives. Muffin Man handed me one, and then looked me straight in the eyes and said "let's get us some dinner." The look on Shepherdess' face seemed to confirm that this was just a regular [&@%!] thing for him to do.
So, we ended up hunting turkeys in the Vermont woods for about an hour, armed only with giant knives.
Needless to say, we didn't catch anything.
I also got robbed in Manhattan, overheard Secret Service officers griping about White House drama in a DC Shake Shack, and stayed for three days in a hostel run by a group of extremely conservative Messianic Jews, who were really good at playing the hammer dulcimer.
Among other stories.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Hello, it is I, GamerAim, but you may call me Vigil, or more preferably, The Lord Vigil, High Avatar of the Mortal Gods Jesmate and the Patron Saints of Virtue! I enjoy ranting and long walks on the Ascadian Isles and gazing longingly at the short view distances in Vivec.
In all seriousness, I mainly joined to play in the Black Legion RP with some people I met in the #UESPForums channel on Xertion (and some I haven't met yet), but figured I'd pop in and say hi and may or may not join in non-RP discussion at some point between now and when I die. I'm on IRC like 14 hours a day (even if AFK) and am always down to talk there, so maybe our paths will cross? Anyway, hi

So I don't really know how people go about this since I haven't been on a forum in a loooooong time.
I guess I'm OriginalReimagined, or Anna. Whichever you want to call me. I've been stalking UESP for a coupld of years now, so I thought it might be about time for me to actually start participating.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Hello everyone. Thought I'd come back for awhile. I'm finally able to play Skyrim and loving it. I built a cheap custom rig from used parts I brought off eBay.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3.00Ghz
8GB ddr2 ram
EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti
Thermaltake 600W PSU
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
I'm happy with it. I can play Skyrim at 60 to around 75 FPS most of the time on Ultra. I'll build a better rig one day but this is the best I can do right now.

To elaborate on what The SheoDovah said, a link to the #UESPForums IRC channel on irc6.xertion.org can be found at the top of the forum website via the "Chatroom" button that links to the Mibbit web-based IRC client. Alternatively, you can use any number of IRC clients to connect to irc6.xertion.org and enter #UESPForums.

Well, after 5 weeks in North-ish Ontario, I am now tanned, toned, and trained in the way of the paddle (canoe paddle, that is). I should have steady internet in a few days, and will try to catch up on everything I've missed then.
So yeah, I'm back (for those who noticed I was gone).
